Crowning Clover

"Hey, Harry," Clover said, tapping her friend on the shoulder while they were emptying their lockers for the day, "wanna come over to my place today? Me and Kels were thinking about having you, Jason, and Chloe over to mess around for a little bit, since it's the last week we've got before Mom and Dad get back home."

Harry, turned around, and a smile formed on his face, "really, Andrew?" he asked, "you've really gotta fill me in on what's been up with you, it's been so long since you've invited us over. Does this mean you've had progress?"

Clover cringed internally at the name Andrew, but knew that she hadn't told Harry what was going on with her yet, so she could forgive him.

"Yeah, there's been progress," she told him, "actually, I was going to tell all three of you once we get home, if that's okay with you?"

"Drew," Harry replied, "of course, man. You know we all care about you, and we want to know how you're doing. I'll tell Chloe and Jason about the invite, don't worry. I'll make sure we're all there."

"Thanks, dude," Clover said, smiling.

Harry smiled back at her, and then walked off to find the others. Clover turned and decided to get to the car, where Kels was surely waiting for her. They'd need to prepare for guests as soon as they got back home, and this was going to be a really heavy hangout.

**Kelsey**

Kelsey noticed her sister approach the car, and waved her down, a massive grin on her face.

Finally, Clover was going to be surrounded by her closest friends, and surely she'd be much more brave after hearing their affirmations. Kelsey had never felt so happy for her twin as she did now. She slid into the driver's seat as Clover entered their vehicle, and turned toward her with a smile on her face.

"Next stop, home," Kelsey said in a goofy conductor impression, "and the biggest moment of our lives so far!"

*twenty minutes later*

Kelsey and Clover walked into the house with a few grocery bags. They'd stopped off at Walmart for a quick snack-grab, and they were now ready to fix up the house for guests. Clover took the bags from Kelsey and placed them on the table, while Kelsey walked over to the couches to take down the pillow castle from last Saturday.

"So," Clover said as they began cleaning the living room, "when do you think it would be wise for me to bring up the topic?"

"Really, I just think whenever you feel comfortable, Clo'," Kelsey answered. "They might be surprised if it was the first thing you said to them, but don't put it off if you really want to do it, you know?"

Clover cocked her head, and Kelsey could only assume she was thinking of many different things. Likely, she wasn't sure what Kelsey meant when she said 'whenever you feel comfortable', but she'd know it when she felt it, so Kelsey didn't feel the pressing need to elaborate.

"Just know that whenever you tell them," Kelsey started, "I'll be here from start to finish, sis."

Clover blushed, "thanks, Kels," she whispered.

**Harry**

Harry opened the door of his truck, and watched as Chloe and Jason popped out from the passenger's side and back trunk, respectively. Why Jay had chosen to lie in the covered bed of the truck was beyond Harry, but as the twins didn't live too far from the school, Harry hadn't thought it was worth forcing him into the cramped back row. If Jason wanted to risk his life on a short trip, Harry wasn't really going to expend every effort to stop him. Jason was nearing adulthood, and he was perfectly capable of keeping his daring nature under control, was Harry's reasoning.
