The worst rescue ever

We stared through the foggy clouds of rocks and stars of green glowing stones, watching as Cole walked unenthusiasticly towards a cage that looked to be made out of bones. He carried a bowl, but it was unclear what was in it but It looked like green sludge, and was being followed by a row of a few skeletons.

"What do you think? take 'em by surprise." Kai said punching the air.

"I'm sure seeing your face will surprise them enough." I remarked looking at Jay as we laughed at Kai who was now fixing his hair, snarling at me.

"I don't know." The green ninja said. "This feels like a moment when Master Wu would say we need more of a plan."

"Didn't you unlock the tomb of a whole army of snakes?" I asked looking at him in sarcastic thought. He rolled his eyes, looking away before turning back to me.

"Wherent you a famous criminal, who committed a ton of crimes and even helped those snakes? Charlotte? No sorry, Tilt?" He grinned, I looked down not wanting them to see the sadness plastered on my face.

"Don't call me that-" I was cut off and left to wonder if they knew I meant Charlotte not Tilt and if they knew that the reason I hated that name was because my Father used to call me that, that my Father was also Coles. And to correct them since I'd only just started at Silvers I wasn't on any missions at that time, so no I didn't help those snakes.

"I like simple." Kai started changing the subject. "I say we bust up that bag of bones, get that key, and save Cole. Best rescue ever!" He stood proudly with his hands on his hips, I just hoped his optimism would give us a chance.

As we began our descent to the ground I started plotting each way to get past the skeleton. I looked beside me to see Jay, his blue gi standing out against the harsh rocks. I kicked and swatted at each Skelton in my path, sliding rocks into them, me and Jay standing on cages hanging from the ceiling, making them falls do crush those below us. And Before we knew it we had dropped just in front of Coles cage. His face and hands against the bars.

"Boy, am I glad to see you guys." He gasped in relief, I smiled at him then back at Jay.

"Are you okay?" I asked looking at him and his scruffy hair, it looked like it used to when we would go to the forest to climb trees, it was funny.

"Yeah, get me outta here." Cole said, laughing as Kai leapt forward with the key to the cage, he twisted and turned it before the gate flung open and Cole was free. For now.

"Someone's coming!" Jay shouted grabbing onto my hand and pulling me out the way as Zane threw something at a chain keeping up a cage hanging from the ceiling.

"Shhhhh! Keep it down, there's a creepy evil guy with wings in that temple." Cole whispered, I knew something was wrong with this place since the second it was mentioned back at Silvers. Nothing good goes through Silver. "And trust me, you do not want to meet him."

"I do." I said putting my free hand up jokingly, Jay still had ahold of my other one, but only received weird stares and scowls from Kai and Lloyd.

"Ofcourse you do." Kai started. I noticed him jump as Jay kicked him in the shins.

"They're probably friends." Lloyd continued jumping similarly after getting elbowed by Nya. At least say it to my face, get some self respect. Isn't he supposed to be the mature one of the group.

"Yeah maybe we are, maybe this was my plan all along." I grinned and tilted my head staring at them, they both got out their weapons and I put my hands up in surrender. "I'm kidding, I'm kidding." I don't think they found it very funny.

After a moment of awkward silence we began trying to release the green and purple ...things from their cages. "We're rescuing you for gosh sake, get out." I complained, I noticed some of them staring at me funny but I ignored it, must just be a Brookestone thing.

One by one cages fell and doors opened and soon enough they where all out. "We're free!" A little purple thing said. Before bumping into a taller and much bigger blue thing, he? Had a tall ponytail and scales, snake like almost.

"You rescue Geckles?" The blue thing said, an angry tone to his voice.

"What's a geckl-?" I began but was cut off by the little purple elf.

"Thieving Munce!" It squeeled.

"Munce?" Jay queried ping, staring at me in confusion, me returning a similar look.

"Thieving Geckles!" The blue troll groaned. Someone's angry.

"Hey, keep it together guys. Just for a few more seconds!" Cole shouted pushing the two creatures away from each other a crowd forming around us filled with the angry growls of Munces and Geckles, or whatever they are. It seemed like they looked at Cole like they looked at me, the thought making my mind wonder back to the whole reason we're down here. The necklace, my mum, Silver's.

"Blade stealers!"

"Filthy takers!"

"Traitors!"

Before anymore insults could be shot from their ragged mouths they begun fighting, wrestling each other to the ground, a civil war in a way. I sold and watched as they gasped and screamed throwing each other around pushing others over even throwing rocks.

"Hey! Knock it off!" Kai screamed trying to collect the creatures running round like a stampede.

"We May have a problem." Zane said, his robotic voice traced with worry.

"You think?" Me and Cole replied in sync, getting a few looks, one from Jay as well, Kai and Lloyd I'd understand but... Jay?

A loud clunk rattled as a spear landed just ahead of my feet. Frustratingly, I didn't have a gi like the rest of the Ninja and almost tripped as I attempted to quickly dodge the flying weapon.

"New plan! Jay, Nya, take out that tower, everyone else run!" I watched as Lloyd shouted commands at as and how each person spun quickly into spinjitzu towards an escape. I watched as I stood there like I could see the isolated look covering my face as I concentrated attempting to use my elemental powers properly, safely.

"Move it! Run!" Cole screamed as the Geckles and Munce continued on their feud. After staring at the ground for too long I gave up and started running, moving my legs so fast it felt like I couldn't control them. After more shouting a few more of those troll things where running but our job wasn't getting any easier. We farted for the exit but where intervened by a group of Skeletons.

I stood in confusion as I noticed my powers wherent working, I knew they didn't work well below ground but they where never this bad. "Somethings up with my powers." Jay shouted.

"Mine too." I cringed, watching them all burst into spinjitzu, I fought with what I could but that wasn't much and before I knew it the rest of the Ninja had taken down the remaining warriors.

"Who dares disturb the skull Sorcerer!?" I heard a figure shout as it exited a large skull planted onto he rock in the centre of the large space. I backed away from the man who was now coming closer to us, so far I bumped into Jay, I apologised as he scratched his head smiling at me. "Rise my army!"

I stared in awe as each beaten Skeleton collected its parts, glowing green and reforming. "I've seen this magic before, we're screwed." I muttered. Jay stepped closer to me, he put his arm round my shoulder and pulled me back as a large group of the u dead jumped towards us and the next thing I saw was darkness.

This took ages, sorry bout dat.
