(At Jim/Claires House)
(y/n) had officially lost Enrique. She couldn't believe it! What kind of baby is able to run away?That child was definitely not Enrique and she was going to prove it.
(y/n) ran around the house, listening to any strange noise that might be Enrique. She soon heard a branch snapping outside and ran to the window to investigate. When she looked outside she saw Toby, Blinky, and Aaarrrgghh wave to her from the bushes by the house. (y/n) ran outside to join them.
"I've brought the gaggletack." Blinky says proudly displaying the object. "Now, where is the child?" He questions.
"I sort of just lost him." (y/n) says embarrassed as she takes the gaggletack from Blinky.
"Are you not babysitting?" Blinky asks with a disappointed look on his face.
"Well, I'm not saying I'm good at it." (y/n) says trying to defend herself.
"I don't understand how the baby could elude you if you were rightfully sitting on him." Blinky says as though (y/n) was an idiot for not literally sitting on the baby.
It just occurred to (y/n) that she hadn't ever actually explained what 'baby sitting' meant to the trolls. "Babysitting doesn't literally mean you sit-" She took a breath and calmed herself. "Never mind. Just keep an eye out while Toby and I handle this."
When (y/n) tried to open the front door she found that it had been locked from the inside. "What?" She said and tried to open the door again. "That little thing locked us out! He's been playing me all along!"
"(y/n), he's a baby, not a 'thing'" Toby said, "Get a hold of yourself. He can't even reach the lock."
"I'm telling you, Tobes, he's a changeling and he knows about the bridge." (y/n) says looking through the window on the first landing. She walks up the porch and look up to the second floor to see the windows leading to the rooms upstairs.
"We have to climb through Jim's window." (y/n) says remembering what Jim had said to her earlier that day about leaving his window unlocked.
"Climb?" Toby jokes. "Sure, why not pole vault while we're at it? Get your head in the game, (y/n)!" Toby scolds her and turns to Aaarrrgghh. The giant troll lifts the two teens up and gently places them on the roof out side Jim's window. "Thanks, wingman." Toby says and gives Aaarrrgghh a high five.
(y/n) climbs up to the window and silently pushes it open. "Thank you Jim." She says quietly to herself before climbing through to window and into his bedroom. She had been in his bedroom a few times before this, but it felt strange that Jim wasn't with them now. She pushed the thought to the back of her mind as she pulled out the gaggletack.
"Ow." Toby says as he falls through the window.
"Hey, little guy, where are you?" (y/n) says holding the gaggletack infant go her. She inspects the room, looking around the bookshelves and drawers for any hiding spots that the changeling could be hiding.
They hear baby crying coming from outside of the bedroom. (y/n) starts to walk out of the room when she sees Toby messing with Jim's stuff. Toby was opening drawers and messing with the contents inside as if he was looking for something, but (y/n) knew that he was just trying to mess with Jim. She caught his eye and shook her head at him, telling him to focus and walked out of the room.
(y/n) followed the crying noises all the way to Enrique's room where she opened the door and saw the 'baby' crying loudly in his crib. Toby pushed (y/n) out of the way and ran towards Enrique, picking him up saying. "Aw, there, there. Did the nasty Trollhunter-girl scare you? Oh, come here, little baby boy. Don't worry. Don't cry. Shh." Enrique stopped cry and began to laugh as Toby held him.
