Soon, the three ghosts were sitting around the piano, Reggie giving the beat so the couple could sing out their lyrics to the melody.

"Wait, so..." Reggie said, cutting off his sister's singing. Luke sighed, wanting to hear more of the girl's voice. "When she says, "deep dish," is she talking about, like, pizza, or..." Reggie trailed off, causing Olivia and Luke to look at each other before Alex poofed in, landing between the couple and Reggie on the piano. "Oh! Oh, hey, man. Where you been?" Reggie asked the blonde.
"Um, kind of everywhere.Yeah. No, I met a new ghost friend," Alex responded, causing Liv to perk up.
"Ooh, was he cute? I can tell by the look on your face he was cute!" Liv said, giving Alex a 'tell me everything later' look.
"Well, uh- Talk later. Anyways, he answered a ton of questions," Alex said.
"Yeah? Like whether Julie was gonna join the band or not?" Luke said, pulling his notebook out from under Alex, annoyed. Liv gave him a look and rubbed his arm.
"Um... Well, we didn't... We didn't really get to that, but I think I know why we're here. OK? All ghosts have, like, unfinished business. So, we need to do our unfinished business so that we can cross over," Alex told his friends.
"Why would we do that? I'm just saying, this is like our second chance. All we need to do is get Julie to play with us," Luke reasoned with the boy.
"Yeah. Not only can that girl sing, she can write too. Luke and I made a killer melody to one of her lyrics," Reggie filled Alex in, causing him to look down at the notebook that Olivia had placed in his hands to show him the song.
"Oh... Without your drummer. Cool," Alex downcasted.
"Drumming is so '90s. OK? We're just gonna... stomp our feet now," Luke said, weakly stomping his feet, accidentally stepping on Olivia's toe, causing her to yelp as he jumped off her foot and put his arms around her, asking if she was okay. She nodded lightly, leaning more into his embrace.
"OK. Well, you know what else is so '90s? Being rude. All right?" Alex snapped, "Get woke. These are sensitive times." He slammed the notebook into Luke's chest, causing him to flinch.
"Ah! Alex... Ow," Luke whispered, as Olivia rubbed gently where the notebook had hit the boy. She could feel every muscle on his chest, and damn were there a lot.
Alex leaned over to Reggie, whispering, "Learned that from my ghost friend."
Reggie chuckles, "Woke."
"Yeah," Alex confirmed.
"That's... That's a cool word," Reggie whispered back.
"Yeah," Alex once again agreed.
"What does it mean?"
"No clue," Alex whispered back to Reggie, shaking his head, smiling.
Soon enough, Julie stormed in.
"Guys! We have to practice that song you were just writing! Flynn's gonna be here in 30 minutes and I need to prove to her you guys exist!"
"Oh, uh, alright," Luke agreed before the band got to their positions, practicing the song. Olivia sat on the couch, thinking about how she can prove to Flynn that she's real without having to perform. After a few moments, Olivia poofed into Julie's room, taking the whiteboard and marker she had seen when they were in her room earlier.
Poofing back into the studio, the band looked at her, sighing with relief after seeing her.
"Dude, where'd you go?" Reggie asked, concerned for his sister.
Luke walked over to her, wrapping his arms around her from behind, kissing the side of her head once he saw that she was okay.
"Yeah, sorry. I was thinking about how I could show Flynn that I was real without having to actually perform, so I poofed into Julie's room, sorry Jules, and grabbed the whiteboard I saw last time we were in there," Olivia answered, leaning into Luke's chest.
"That's a great idea, Liv!" Julie exclaimed, before they all heard a knock on the studio door. "She's here! Places, guys." And soon enough, the guys were in their places, and Liv took a seat on the couch.
