Later in the studio, the girls filled Luke and Reggie in on the dance information.

"Wait! We're playing a school dance? Sweet!" Reggie exclaimed.

"It's not exactly the Strip," Luke sighed, wrapping his arm around Liv.

"And you're not exactly alive, so you should be happy we have our first gig," Reggie pointed out, causing the girls to chuckle.

"I wasn't in love with the idea at first either, but it could be a great way for us to build a following, right?" Julie told the boys.

"Yeah. Yeah. We need to play wherever we can, whenever we can," Olivia tried to reason.

"No, you're right. Let's rock those kids' faces off and then play the clubs," Luke said, placing his hands beside Olivia on the piano. She placed her head on his bicep, hugging his right arm, zoned out. She had been fighting with herself ever since she and Julie found out about the dance.

"And then record a single that gets a billion streams?" the living girl questioned with excitement.

"I don't know what that is, but hopefully it gets us a manager and a tour," Luke replied.

"Then we release a bunch of hit albums," Julie said.

"Put out a country album that does surprisingly well. I shred on the banjo, so..." Reggie trailed off.

"Then I'll learn how to fiddle," Julie air fist bumped the Peters boy.

"And before you know it, we're being inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame," Luke yelled, hitting the piano, causing Liv to quickly snap out of it.

"But one of us isn't there. Because we had a blowout in 2032. My money's on Alex. He's so sensitive," Reggie pointed out.

"I'm gonna perform," Liv announced, not making eye contact with everyone.

"W-what?" Luke stammered out.

"I-if it's okay, I want to perform with you guys."

"Of course that's okay! Liv, this is amazing!" Julie exclaimed. She was so excited to hear Liv sing for the first time.

"Vi, are you sure?" Reggie asked his sister, wanting to make sure she was positive in her decision.

"There's no point wallowing in self pity anymore. I'm dead, it's not like anyone can patronize me forever," Olivia chuckled, causing Luke to hug her from behind.

"What are we waiting for? Let's get rehearsing!" Luke exclaimed, spinning Olivia around, excited. She started to laugh and turned around in his arms once he placed her back on the ground. Luke placed his forehead onto hers, whispering softly, "I'm so proud of you."

As Liv went to respond, Julie loudly asked the crew, "Uh... Where is Alex?" causing them to shrug.

It's been a while since the band began rehearsing, and Liv was feeling more confident. Julie was in awe when she had heard the girl sing, and Luke and Reggie couldn't be more proud of their girl.

"One more time," Luke said as he, Reggie, and Julie played the intro to the song on respective instruments. Suddenly, Alex poofs in, "Oh. Hey, Alex. Where have you been? We need to start practicing."

"Yeah? For what?" Alex questioned, noticing the microphone in Liv's hand. "Wait, are you-" Alex's question was cut off by Flynn entering the studio.

"Dance news! I don't have a date. But I don't care because I'm so psyched to see you guys perform."
