Flashback: 18 years ago

It was a gloomy day with no streak of sun to be seen. His summer holiday was ending and his time to play with his ace, his cute best friend Urvi. Akshay came running out of his summer house in his blue polo shirt and khaki shorts when he heard that Uru was returning home today.

The shiny SUV cars were filled with luggage. Urvi's uncle Jayram Sharma and his wife Kishori Sharma were checking if they had kept everything. Hemlata Ji was already in the car with the 10-year-old Pravin and Arushi (Jayaram and Kishori's daughter). She was waiting for her youngest grandchild Urvi to come out.

Urvi came out clutching her dress tightly so as not to let it be dirty. She was wearing her cute sequinned dress that went below her ankles. The belt around the dress had a bow that neatly held the dress together and her hair was in a ponytail with a pink bow.

When Akshay saw her he was mesmerized, he just stared at her. Urvi saw him and went to him.

"Akshu ?" clicking her fingers she tried to bring him back to reality.

"Uh...yeah ace...so you going?" he asked putting his hands in his pocket and looking down at the ground.

"Yes, Akshu we'll be back in no time though, next year we will have more fun, right?"Urvi said in her sweet voice with her brightest smile.

"Yes Uru, I'm going to miss you so much," said Akshay with tears in his eyes.

"I'm going to miss you too Akshu. Bye " Urvi said with a smile, kissed him on his cheeks, and went back home.

Present

Akshay slowly faded to reality and a lone tear escaped from his eyes as he reminisced his childhood favorite moment.

The moment he truly knew he fell in love with Urvi Sharma.
It was a cliche childhood love but he knew that was how it all started.

The moment when he saw the 8-year-old Urvi scrunching her nose, lifting her dress as she came out looking polished to perfection, he knew she was the only one for him, the one who he would marry without any hesitation, his ace.

"Earth to Akshay, Ha ya na beta (yes or no child)?" asked Divya to her son as he looked lost in his thought and remained like a statue for quite some time.
