                          I s h a n i

I had always loved the little street market near the university. It was a haven for everything quirky and delicious. It was a routine for me and Neha my best friend to go to these street markets and eat everything we could lay our eyes on.

We first decided to eat panipuri our all-time favorite, then chaat, vada pav, momos, samosa, lassi, and finally ice cream. I know I'm a massive junk eater but it's so good and I can eat mountains of it.

Navigating through the crowd, I found myself at the front of the line at the smoothie stand. I was debating between the "Tropical Breeze" and the "Berry Blast" when I bumped into someone. It wasn't a small bump I collided headfirst, my smoothie cup flying out of my hand and landing in a splash of fruit and ice right onto the stranger's shirt.

"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" I said, slowly looking up at the person whose shirt I ruined. My eyes widened as I looked up. My face flushed with embarrassment as I met the gaze of my jalebi chor (Pravin Sharma). He looked really good and he was tall. His shirt was now a canvas of mixed berries and tropical fruits.

He blinked in surprise, his mouth forming a small 'O' as he glanced down at his ruined shirt. Then, his eyes crinkled at the corners, and he chuckled.

"Mohtarma, ap hamse badla lerahi hai?" he said, his voice smooth as silk. "But, it looks good, I've always wanted to try out a new fruit pattern." (Lady, are you taking revenge on me?)

I couldn't help but laugh, my embarrassment melting away. "I guess you're now a walking smoothie ad. Let me get you a new shirt."

He waved a hand dismissively. "Nah, it's cool. I've always wanted to start a new fashion trend. 'Fruit Couture,' you know?"

I snorted. "Well, if you're going to rock the smoothie look, let me get you a new smoothie. It's the least I can do."

"Deal," he said, extending his hand. "You are really beautiful you know mohtarma(Lady)."

"Yes I do actually," I said. "Your Jalebi offer is still pending Mr. Sharma."

Pravin grinned. " I know, how about we go now? We could discuss my nickname more."
