The clock struck midnight, its chimes echoing through the sprawling mansion where I stood alone in my study finishing my work. My thoughts were consumed with Urvi and only Urvi. Her slender frame exuded a quiet elegance, and her brown eyes, warm and inviting, held kindness that drew me in whenever I looked at it. Her cute smile made me ache for her more.

As if on cue, my phone buzzed, the screen illuminating with an unfamiliar number.

My heart racing, I hesitated before answering. "Hello?"

A chilling distorted voice greeted me from the other end. "Akshay Mehta, it seems you haven't learned your lesson yet, have you?"

My grip on the phone tightened. It couldn't be happening again. "Who is this?" I demanded.

"You're a fool to think you can marry Urvi and get away with it. You know the consequences."

Six years of torment flashed before my eyes: threatening messages, anonymous calls, and even vandalism. I had tried to find him for so long. I had appointed many of my private detectives but all failed to trace him.

"I won't let you destroy me and my loved one's lives again," I replied firmly, "I'll find out who you are, no matter what it takes."

Laughter echoed mockingly through the phone. "You've tried before, haven't you? You're no closer now than you were six years ago."

My jaws clenched. This time would be different. I had to win against him no matter what, "Mark my words," I said, my voice low and determined.  "Why do you not want me to marry her?"

"It's all very simple, I want her. She's mine...only mine...she's my little diamond. You are a nuisance on my path. "he said.

"Woh tumhari galatfami hai (That's your misunderstanding). Urvi is not someone's toy, you don't own her...and she's mine you monster." I said furiously. "I will find you. And when I do, you'll regret ever crossing me, you f**cker."I slammed my phone on the desk, shattering it to pieces.

With a click, the line went dead. Anger and frustration surged within me, mingling with a determination I hadn't felt in years.

I knew something had to be done.
