I hadn't slept a wink.

As the bride, I was supposed to be filled with excitement and anticipation, but instead, I was battling a storm of memories that kept me awake through the long, silent hours of the night.

The betrayal. The heartbreak. The long conversations were filled with promises and regrets. It was as if every moment of our past together had come crashing back to haunt me.

"I'm doing the right thing right Ma and Papa?" I said looking at my late parent's picture frame that was adorned with a garland of flowers. I miss them so much today that it hurts. If they were here I wouldn't be marrying him.

With a deep breath, I stood up and began to prepare for the ceremony. The makeup artists and hairstylists returned, and as they worked their magic, I focused on the present moment.

Urvi's wedding attire is a breathtaking fusion of tradition and elegance. She wears a stunning lehenga choli in vibrant hues of deep red and gold, adorned with elaborate embroidery work in gold thread, the embroidery is further embellished with sequins and tiny mirror work. The lehenga is meticulously layered, with a voluminous flare that moves elegantly as she walks.

The front closure of the blouse is adorned with decorative buttons that match the embroidery of the lehenga. The dupatta is an ethereal, semi-transparent veil made of the same deep crimson fabric as the lehenga. The dupatta is draped gracefully over her head and shoulders, with one end pinned to her choli.
