Milo had to leave soon after their confessions. Again, not wanting to leave her. It sucked being a teenager still in highschool. He had to finish his homework. For everyone thinking that he was a dumb jock, his GPA was actually near perfect. He wasn't in advanced courses, like Estella, but he worked his ass off. Milo was doing everything he could to get into a good college, and get as far away from his family as possible. They didn't have money saved. Milo did his best with odd jobs, but there was no way he could earn enough between school and sports. Academic or sports scholarship offers were most likely his only hope.
It appeared that his father would again be working an overnight shift which was music to his ears when his mother told him. For once, Monday morning wouldn't be experienced in a complete fog.

Monday morning:POV: Third Person
Milo walked into the school, Estella had already gotten off the bus, he'd surmised, as her bus was driving away when he was departing his own.
He walked quickly to her locker, wanting to see her before homeroom. She was as usual, mussing and fussing with her things and balancing her bookbag and coffee.
Except, there was something different today.
"Estella?" Milo asked, almost uncertain if it was even her.
She turned around and gave him a quick smirk.
"Girl! What...?" He gasped.
"Relax, mi Lobo Blanco. After you left, I decided to do some shopping. I figured it was time." Estella explained, nonchalantly.
She was wearing a brown, slouchy, cropped sweater, tapered at the wrists. The v-neckline exposed some of her shoulder and collar bones, where her star necklace lay beautifully. Light colored ripped jeans hugged her curves nicely, and on her feet she wore a pair of black loafers. Her makeup was neutral and soft. And her hair was down, smooth, and straight, with a slight curl. She looked like Estella, but not.
"You look amazing. I mean, you always do. But, damn girl. Showing yourself some looove." He joked in an enthusiastic tone, and did a little dance.
She laughed at his antics, and rolled her eyes.
"Alright, alright."His smile softened and he looked down at her, stepping closer and leaning in for a kiss.
"I love you, babygirl." He whispered, loving that now he could say it outloud whenever he wanted."I love you too." She returned his whisper, biting her lip and smiling.
"You're sure you're feeling good about this though, right? Like, you didn't do this for me?" Milo asked.
"Not for you. But, maybe because of you. I guess I just took your advice. Oddly, it made sense." She replied.
"You actually listened to me?" He quipped, pointedly.
"Fuck off." She chuckled, slapping his arm.
"Hey, Princess. Don't you cuss at me." Milo scolded (partially joking), with his Big Bad Wolf stare.
"Or what, Gran Lobo Malo?" She challenged, teasingly.
"You'll see "or what"." He countered, resting his forehead on hers.

The pair went on with their day. This was one of the days where they didn't have as many classes together. It was now approaching lunch. Estella met Milo again, outside of the Cafeteria, taking care to avoid Bryan and Julian."Hey!" Milo greeted, enthusiastically wrapping her up in a hug, and picking her up off the ground.
"You're like, super hyped. Like, more than usual." Estella commented, with amusement. "You finally got some sleep, didn't you?"
