THE SPRING AFTER YOUR QUIRK MANIFESTED, anticipation filled the air. It was during this season of renewal, under blossoming cherry trees and warm breezes, that you finally crossed paths with your first canon characters.

You were elated, of course. But a small part of you wished it had happened sooner. Maybe if you'd intervened earlier, things could have changed—perhaps they could have remained friends. But now, fate had brought you to this moment, and you weren't going to let it slip by.

That day, your brother took you to the park, as had become your usual routine. On the way, he bumped into one of his friends, and after a bit of back-and-forth, you assured him you'd be fine alone. It wasn't unusual for children to be left unattended in public places in Japan, and you were already used to handling yourself.

The park was peaceful, filled with the sound of children playing, birds chirping, and the distant hum of city life. Everything seemed calm—until a familiar voice shattered the tranquility.

"Why are you being so mean? You're making him cry, Kacchan!" The boy's voice trembled with emotion.

You recognized that voice immediately—it was Midoriya Izuku, the protagonist. The scene unfolding before you was one you had seen countless times. It was the opening scene, the moment that set the stage for everything that followed.

Ahead of you stood Bakugo Katsuki, his sneer sharp as he towered over Midoriya, the young boy trembling and teary-eyed. Bakugo's voice cut through the air like a knife. "You want to pretend to be a hero? You don't stand a chance without a quirk... Deku."

The sight was too much to bear. Summoning all your courage, you stepped forward, your voice ringing out with authority. "Stop it! Leave him alone!"

Bakugo turned, his eyes narrowing as he sized you up, clearly annoyed by the interruption. "Who the hell are you, extra?" His voice dripped with disdain.

You felt your quirk hum to life, that subtle tug in the air as it worked its magic. You met Bakugo's gaze, not flinching. "I don't care who you are—picking on someone like this just makes you look weak."

For a moment, Bakugo's expression flickered with confusion. He faltered, clearly unsettled by the unexpected force behind your words. After a tense pause, he huffed and backed off, irritation still simmering in his eyes. "Tch. Whatever," he muttered before turning away, signaling to his cronies to follow.
