AFTER YOUR ENCOUNTER WITH INASA, you didn't come across any other canon characters for a while—not in circumstances where you could strike up a conversation, at least. But you weren't complaining. Life had settled into a comfortable routine, with Bakugo's antics fading into background noise, your bond with Midoriya deepening, and your friendship with Inasa growing stronger by the day.

One afternoon, as you walked home from school, you decided to take a shortcut through a quiet park. The sun hung low in the sky, casting warm, golden light over the empty playground and rustling leaves. The peaceful silence was suddenly interrupted by the distressed mewing of a cat. You followed the sound, your steps quickening as the cries became more desperate.

You found the source soon enough—a small, frightened cat stuck high up in the branches of a tree. It was beautiful, with white fur and striking blue eyes, but its trembling body told you it was scared out of its wits.

"Hey there, kitty," you called softly, stepping closer to the tree and craning your neck to get a better view. "It's okay, I'll get you down."

But as you stood there, pondering how to retrieve the cat without climbing the tree and possibly hurting yourself, a voice from behind startled you.

"Need some help with that?"

You turned to see a boy with messy purple hair and tired-looking eyes. He had a calm, almost indifferent expression, but something about him felt familiar. Then he introduced himself.

"I'm Shinsou Hitoshi," he said, giving a slight bow.

Your heart did a small leap of recognition. Shinsou Hitoshi. You couldn't help the small internal fangirl moment that followed, but you kept your cool, offering a warm smile in return. "I'm [Last Name] [Name]. Nice to meet you."

Shinsou gave a small nod before his attention shifted to the cat. "Let's get this cat down," he said, his tone calm and assured.

With Shinsou's help, you were able to coax the cat down from the tree. The beautiful white feline, with striking blue eyes, immediately curled up in your arms, purring contentedly as if it had found its place in the world.

"Thank you, Shinsou-kun," you said warmly, a grateful smile lighting up your face. "You're really good with animals."

He shrugged, looking away modestly. "It wasn't much."

The two of you made your way to a nearby bench, where you sat together, the cat still contentedly curled in your arms. For a moment, neither of you spoke, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere that had returned to the park. After a while, you decided to break the silence.
