Hello everyone! First off, I'm really sorry for the lack of updates recently. I know it's been a while, and I appreciate your patience so much.
Sadly, this isn't a new chapter, after a lot of thought, I've decided to rewrite this story. I know I've mentioned this before, and I even started rewriting it once, but Heartbeat was my very first fic, and my writing style has grown so much since then. Looking back, I can see the areas where the story feels a bit unpolished. When I first started, I was mostly posting chapters on the go without a clear outline, which left me feeling overwhelmed and a little lost at times. To keep the story interesting, I sometimes added random ideas without much planning, which has led to a few plot holes and some inconsistencies in the MC's personality.
It'll take me some time to get back to updating since I'm currently focused on my newer fics, but I really, truly appreciate your patience and support through all of this! When the full rewrite is done, I hope to bring you a much more polished version out!
