Chapter 9

“ Men I want you to all go back to the main cave and restart the fire so we can have dinner.”

“ Sir are you sure you want us to leave you? Did you find anything?”

“ I am telling you to go I am fine and I did find something I will be back

to the main cave shortly, now go all of you!”

Andrew needed to get them away so he could get Billi out and have a

moment alone with her. He could not believe he finally found her.

“It is ok now you can come out.” he said gently to her.

“ I am so sorry I hit you on the head.” Billi replied

Andrew laughed he was filled with such joy at knowing she was safe

and back with him. He could not recall a time when he had been so

happy in his life. This was everything he had dreamed about

for the last few months, well almost everything. She was alive and safe.

She was with him now and he vowed to never let her out of his reach again.

“ Oh Billi you do not know how happy I am that I found you, I have

been searching for you. I would have come sooner but I had to go to

King Alexander.”

“ I am sorry that I ran away, I just couldn't risk you getting hurt because

of me, I know who killed my family, I know who killed my people.”

Andrew wanted to reach out to her and comfort her. It killed him to

see her in pain but he could tell she was fighting to keep from crying  

and she still thought he believed she was a boy. She might not

take his comfort as what it was a man comforting a woman. A friend

helping a friend deal with a horrible tragedy.

“We can talk about all that later, first we need to get you out from

under there, and get back to the fire.”

“I need to talk to you first.” Billi said..

“I have to tell you the truth.”

Before she could go any further he pulled her into his arms and kissed

her.

Billi's mind was spinning, she had never thought a kiss would feel like

this, his lips were warm and demanding, a little rough but she was just

as desperate as he was for there kiss so she did not

mind. His tongue started pressing against her lips and instinct told her

to open her mouth and let it in. She was beginning to feel weak in the
