After the announcement of Ethel's pregnancy, time has went by very quickly. She was forming a little bump in her stomach with a glow in her face. Florence has been the best companion to her and his unborn child, everytime he gets off work he'll come straight to her home instead of going to his.

Anna Mae was still trying to get use to it because it was all new to her. The trip to Detroit wasn't no better, everyone clearly seemed to forget what they came here for her and that it was her special day tomorrow. Everyone was coming up to Ethel once they seen that small bump poking out, with a handsome man on her arm.

"This is some bull crap" Anna Mae mumbled scrunching up her face watching everyone surround her mom. She sighed and got off the couch to go outside of her grandmother Dorothy's house.

"Hey Anna Mae. What are ya doing out here?" Mary chuckled walking up the walk way looking down at Anna. The little girl rushed over to her, giving her the tightest hug ever "Oh!..I missed you too" Mary's face softened with a smile

"Let's go inside I want to give my congratulations and blessings to your mother" She told Anna, She grabbed a hold of Mary's pulling her back "No! you can tell her later!" She pleaded

"What's the matter with you Anna?" Mary pulled her arm back out of her hold, Anna held her down looking at her feet quietly "I'll be back okay?" Mary walked up to the steps of the home leaving Anna alone in the yard

The feeling of an almost nine-year-old feeling that she was starting to be forgotten has gotten to her. She has been alone since September and barely did things with her own mother anymore. She fiddled with the bottom of her dress with unexpected tear drops falling.

"Stop cryin' Andrea" She mumbled to herself sniffing, wiping her tears then lifted her head up and began walking away from the home. It was still mid daylight in the sky as she walked on the streets of Detroit, she was passing all the kids who were just getting out of school from their after school activities.

She was to wherever her mind took her. The racing thoughts in her head were almost blinding her, she couldn't think properly. Her heart was beating rapidly, she put her hand over her chest trying to catch her breath looking around at her surroundings.

"Watch it kid!" Someone said to her when she bumped into them repeatedly as she brushed through the walking crowd panicking, she turned around in circles but ended up tripping over a stump in the ground. "Are you okay?!" A person who was standing near by rushed over to her
