𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝟏𝟗𝟔𝟖

Time went by rather quickly for Anna Mae. During those two and half months back in North Carolina, Ethel decided to leave NC and move to Michigan to live with her mother again until she find another place to live. They came once Anna Mae finished school so while she's living here she'll be attending school somewhere in Detroit until they find a place.

It was Christmas eve as well, the house was decorated with beautiful red and silver decorations and with a real tree in the living room that's filled with a lot of presents. While everyone was in the living room talking and playing. Anna Mae sat in her bedroom quietly lying there not feeling up for it.

She didn't get time to see Michael or talk to him over the phone lately. To her she felt friendless once again, also during his days off he has to go back to Indiana for school and be with his family. His household is very strict so no phone calls especially when Joseph is around.

Michael had just gotten back from Berry Gordy's home after performing for his guest. Diana Ross was there and he spent most of his time gawking his eyes at her every time he sang.

He sat in the back of the family van quietly with Marlon asleep on his shoulder. He was peaking out the window watching the snow fall slowly from the sky, people homes were lit up with the christmas light decorations and christmas trees.  He wondered how it would've been if he knew how to celebrate christmas with his family decorating a tree.

Since the family was a Jehovah witness, there was no celebrating anything in his Mothers eyes. The van was getting close to Anna's grandmother block "Wait!" He jumped up calling out to Joseph. Marlon jumped out of his seat rubbing his eyes "Man come on"

"Michael! What!?" Joseph shouted looking back at him "Can we please stop by Anna Mae's house?" Michael leaned forward looking at Joseph "No. Sit back" Joe pointed his finger

That didn't make Michael listen he really wanted to see her "Please? Just a quick stop? it's just right here!" He pointed outside the window and the house was decorated with lights on the bushes and around the house

"I know the damn light bill is expensive" Joseph mumbled pulling the car over before putting it in park and shutting it off. "We won't be here long. Get out" He told the boys

All of them instantly got out the car with no second thought. "All these lights" Jermaine eyes gazed upon the decorations as they walked up the steps of the home "Must be nice huh?" Jackie said with a light chuckle, Tito looked at him nodding with a simple "Yeah"
