Pop's pups (Part 14)

"INCOMING!"

"!!"

All usual activities stopped and the deck grew quiet as the one on look-out had yelled down. Instead of panicking, the pirates waited for more information whilst already scanning the sea around them their selves.

...

Only, no info came and they didn't spot anything so whatever it was was still far out.

"Oi!" Haruta, the commander closest to the mast yelled up, "Incoming from where!?"

"STARBOARD!"

"What is incoming!"

"A ship!"

"Oh my fucking-" Haruta facepalmed with a heavy sigh, interrupting his own cursing of their look-out. He would be sure to start up a new training sessions for all their look-outs now. They may be in one of the safer seas where practically no one could take them. That didn't mean they could play around with their only warning and information of incoming people.

"Pops!" he called out next. And didn't need to say anything before a hand was lowered. The second it was low enough, Haruta jumped on, quickly followed by Izou who had run out too at the commotion.

Together they rose high up in the air, waiting when it slowed as they knew they would go even higher. And they did as their Pops stood up and stretched his arm up as much as he could. Giving the two commanders a viewpoint even higher then the usual normal sized pirates vessel had.

"Starboard he said..." Haruta murmured as he found the vessel.

"Well, by just a few degrees it's still starboard."

"Could have just yelled 'Front' and we would have spotted it sooner. I'm getting new training classes started up. Can I get your gun for a moment?"

Knowing the other just wanted a scope, he handed that over instead.

"Thank y- since when do you carry a spyglass?"

"Since my dear brothers keep using my guns as scopes when that's not their purpose."

"... Thanks."

"You're welcome. Now, do we need to prep for battle?"

Haruta held the spyglass to his eye, twisting to get a clear vision. "... Did someone order a package?"

Izou blinked, "what?"

"It's the mail-boat."

"The mail-boat... there's no chance the mail-boat would come to us." And took his gun to look into the distance.

"I thought you didn't want your guns used for-"

"They're my guns, I can use them how I want. I just don't need everyone's germs over them."

"... We shower."

"uhu, as regular as I am the pirate king. Now let's see- It really is the mail-boat... Are we sure they're coming for us?"

"They sailing right at us, plus they just raised their delivery flag while I was watching, so they spotted the ship they're delivering too. With no one nearby... that's us."

"Who in their right mind would let a package be shipped to us????"

"Someone hella rich." Haruta snorted as he called for Pops to be let down, "The fees to already deliver a package to a moving boat is a lot. But then a pirate ship?"

"The ship of a Yonko."

"Yea, the security fees... man... I wonder who it is from."

"And what it is, maybe it's make-up."
