We're getting ready in the fitting room backstage for the long-overdue interview. Both Natasha and I agreed we would only do one exclusive interview, and my team decided who would have the exclusive contract to conducting it.

I go through the set of questions the TV station prepared for us to answer, while Natasha is getting her makeup done. In all honesty, not much needs to be done to enhance her natural beauty. She already glows in her emerald green pantsuit, which perfectly complements her striking green eyes. Her hair is styled in a sleek low ponytail, accentuating her sharp features and elegant neck. A stunning necklace, a Christmas gift from Noel, glimmers subtly against her skin, completing her look with a touch of understated luxury.

As for me, I've opted for a simple yet sophisticated ensemble: a black silk shirt paired with a tailored black jacket and skirt. My hair cascades down in soft, glossy waves, adding a hint of effortless glamour to my appearance. The overall look is minimalist but exclusive, allowing me to present a composed and refined image for the interview.

Once the stylist finishes with Natasha, they leave us alone to share a private moment before the interview. I can sense her nervousness; the subtle way her fingers fidget with the hem of her pantsuit gives her away. I choose not to comment on it directly, knowing how overwhelming these kinds of interviews can be, especially for Natasha, who is not accustomed to them.

"I have the contract ready. I'll hand it to you after this, and if you have any comments or concerns, please let me know," I initiate the conversation between us, hoping to distract her from her nerves.

"Sure," she replies simply, her eyes flickering up to meet mine briefly. Our interaction has improved significantly. Natasha no longer avoids me when I'm near her, but there is still a lingering awkwardness between us. I'm confident that, in time, we will move past it. For a moment, we sit in silence, the anticipation hanging heavy in the air.

"Five more minutes, Ms. Ortiz, Ms Grayson," a staff member informs us, breaking the quiet.

"Okay, let's do this." I stand up, smoothing down my skirt, and Natasha follows suit.

We walk towards the interview room, side by side, ready to embrace whatever uncertainty comes our way.

As we enter, we are greeted by Jimmy Camden, the host of the show. Louisa's decision to go live instead of pre-recording looms over me, and I make a mental note to have a word with her afterward. Jimmy's presence is larger than life, his charisma filling the room instantly.

"Hi, Catherine. Long time no see. You've become even more beautiful since the last time we met," Jimmy says, his eyes twinkling with familiar warmth.

"And Natasha, I believe this is our first time meeting. The pictures don't do you justice. You are even more gorgeous in real life," Jimmy adds, his tone flirtatious as always.

"Oh, thank you, Jimmy. But, unfortunately, I'm engaged," Natasha replies, flashing her engagement ring with a playful smile, lightening the atmosphere effortlessly.

"Oh wow, too bad for me. But believe me, I would never be brave enough to mess with Catherine Ortiz here," Jimmy says with a wink in my direction. I respond with a smile, appreciating his attempt to ease the tension.

We take our seats, the lights dimming as the live countdown begins. Natasha glances at me, her earlier nerves replaced with a determined calm. I give her a reassuring nod.

"Welcome back to Jimmy Camden Live. With me today is the most iconic figure in the fashion industry, who reached the pinnacle of success at a very young age. It's none other than Catherine Ortiz, the president and Group CEO of Ortiz & Co. I am delighted to have you on my show. Welcome back, Catherine!" Jimmy introduces me with his trademark enthusiasm.
