Jossan

Pacey: "hey," Pacey interrupted with a friendly smile, as he slid into the seat beside Brooke at lunch.
Jossan: "Hey"
Brooke: "What's up!"

Pacey: "I was out having a smoke with Mat and the guys, but that guy that always hangs out by the abandoned cafe came up to us so I got the hell out of there"
Jossan: "Abandoned cafe? Who?"

Pacey: "That Mayfield creep," he replied.

Shane Mayfield.

He graduated school a couple years ago, now he was more famous for selling drugs. So what the hell was mat still doing out there.

Pacey. "He's bad news"
Jossan: "Is he with him?"

Pacey looked at me in confusion.

Pacey: "Who?"
Jossan: "Mat?"
Pacey: "Yeah. He's outside with him now."

Shoving my chair back, I jerked to my feet, leaving my bag, lunch, and friends behind me, and stormed out of the cafeteria.

I was going to kill him if he got involved in anything like that. It's not exactly like it would be news to the hockey team.

Hardin was involved with Shane his sophomore year of high school and it ended badly.

Jossan: "Hey!" I screamed, when the familiar black car came into my focus, parked up at the far end of the school carpark.

Jossan: "Get out of the car, asshole!" I said the moment I saw Mat in his car.

I was not about to let him go through the same thing my brother did.

However, the moment Mat's eyes landed on me, his confusion quickly morphed into recognition before settling on anger.

Oh, be angry, fucker, because I can be angrier.

Jossan: "I said get out of the car, asshole," I demanded,

Jossan: "Now!"
Mat: "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" He said, throwing the car door open and climbing out.

Mat: "Jesus Christ, Wood!" Rounding the car, he quickly slid between me and the car.
Mat: "What are you thinking?"
Jossan: "What am I thinking?" I got out, chest heaving, as I quickly searched his eyes for any signs that he was high.

Jossan: "What are you thinking?"

Losing my cool, I shoved him out of the way, and kicked the number plate of Shane's car.

Shane: "Hey!" Shane roared, rolling down his tinted window.
Shane: "Get a handle on your girl, Mat, or I will."
Jossan: "I'd like to see you try, asshole," I screamed.
Jossan: "I'm not afraid of you!"
Mat: "Jossan-"
Jossan: "No!" Pushing Mat when he tried to wrestle me away, I walked back to the car and kicked it again.

Mat: "Do you have a death wish?" Dark brown eyes looked down at me.

Mat: "You don't fuck around with guys like him, Wood. And you definitely don't go around making a scene in public and kicking their goddamn cars."
Jossan: "I don't care," I screamed back, and I meant every word.
Jossan: "I don't. I don't care about his bullshit threats. What I care about is what you were doing in his car, Mat!"
Mat: "I don't answer to you, which means I don't need to explain myself either," he was quick to say, eyes burning with frustration.

Mat: "I'm not fucking around behind your back with other girls. That, you can be assured of. I'm with you, and only you. But everything else I do, or who I do it with, when we're not together, is not your business."
Jossan: "You are my business, asshole!" I got out.

Jossan: "And if you gave one single shit about me, then you would understand why you need to walk away from this car."
Mat: "Jossan."
Jossan:"Right now, Mat," I cried out angrily.
