<Ash POV>

I gripped the hoodie I had been holding And got out my phone quickly and went to messages.

To: CODY
From: ASH
You're him.

I had texted Cody the mysterious guy from the diner and suddenly I heard a dinging sound of a phone go off behind me.
"I knew it! I knew your voice sounded familiar" I said quickly turning around. As I turned around I examined the guys structuring with detail. He had dark brown hair, blue/green/gold eyes, muscles that were lightly detailed through his shirt, a black lip ring, and was tall. "Well you guessed correctly congratulations" he looked down and smirked as he fiddled with his phone. I stared at him confused
"so at the diner why'd you leave so fast I mean I never got to see your face". "Eh I don't know places to go things to do" he shrugged. "So you never answered my guess" he said looking up and examining my face.
"Oh uhm..more like rules are meant to be broken so I don't know yeah rules just don't work out well for me" I said while running my fingers through my hair before hearing my name getting called by the art teacher.
"JUST ASH THE PRINCIPAL WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU" he had yelled across the room to me still trying to be funny.
"Cool." I replied and continued my conversation with Cody as the class ooh'd after my reply.
"I'm never going to get rid of that name" I sighed to Cody.
"Cody would you mind showing Just ash to the principals" the teacher has asked. Cody got up swiftly and opened the door for me as the girls sat in awe over his looks.
Once the door closed Cody let out a laugh "damn."
"What" I asked confused. "First in first period and now in second period with the sarcastic remarks" he laughed as we turned the corner in the hallway.
"Glad I amuse you" I sighed as we walked to the principals office I noticed Cody staring at me.
"Soo guess I'm so bad I require an escort-er to escort me to the office" I laughed quietly trying to break the silence.
"Yeah..so you get in trouble a lot at the old schools?" He questioned.
"Define trouble" I looked around and ran my fingers through my hair. He laughed and I stopped by the janitors closet and got out a bobby pin. "Uhm what're you doing" he said confused. "Hah you didn't think I was actually going to the principals office did you?" I busted out laughing as I began picking the lock.
"And what if I tell on you" he crossed his arms.
"You won't" I said calmly and confidently as I finally got the door unlocked.
"Hmp well what're you going to do in here I mean we still have about three more hours of school left" Cody said while looking around to make sure no one was coming.
"Well I have a phone andddd I intend to use it" I laughed as I examined the inside.
"Oh" he said while staring at me again. "So-" I got cut off by the emptiness of presence. "Cody? Where'd you go" I questioned. After a minute I shrugged and closed the janitors door as I was in it and sat down playing games and listening to music.
After a few hours had past it was the end of the day. I quickly got out of the closet and walked outside to the buses and sat in the very back. I put in my ear buds blocking out the annoying screaming, laughing, and other sounds. I sat for a moment and closed my eyes, listening to the music when suddenly someone plopped down next to me. I turned to see Cody and leaned my head against the window again. The whole way to my house it was silent until I got up.
"Ooh damn new girls got a.ss" a random guy yelled and grabbed my a.ss. I quickly grasped his wrist and clinched it hard making sure to hurt him as I turned to face him. "New girls got what?" I said sternly giving him a death stare. "OW S.HIT S.HIT S.HIT S.HIT CHILL" the guy had yelled in pain.
"How about you go suck an eggplant I would say d.ick but you can't get none, I would say C.hode but you already got one, and I would say truck but you have the maturity of a nine year old" I scoffed out and turned around walking off the bus and putting my headphones in. As I was getting off I heard car horns going off and suddenly I was wrapped in arms and out of the road.
I blinked slowly and looked around. Everything was hazy and I couldn't hear anything. My vision soon went back to normal after a few seconds and I looked up at Cody who was hovering over my body. "What the f.uck " I groaned before blacking out.
A few hours later I awoken in my bed. "Ow s.hit" I said while rubbing my head. I examined all the cuts and scrapes on me and got up to take a shower. I got undressed and got into the steaming water and winced from the burning sensation it left on my cuts and scrapes. I soon got out of the shower and opened my dresser looking for bedtime wear.

<Cody POV>

I was sitting at my house alone watching tv in my room. I started thinking about what had happened earlier today, you know the car crash stuff. I stared up at the ceiling and glanced out my window noticing a light. I got up to get a better look and saw someone. Ash. "Holy s.hit she's my neighbor?!"
She was changing into bed wear and had cuts and scrapes on her from earlier. Lucky for her she was faced the other way so I could only see her back. I quickly turned around as she was done and I closed my curtains. I tried getting the image of her changing out of my mind, I mean I can't have people thinking I'm some perverted weirdo.

<Ash POV>

I found an oversized tee shirt, my undergarments, and some long loose socks to wear to bed. I had gotten dressed and hopped into my bed and listened to some music as I drifted off to sleep. Sadly I couldn't sleep much after the last sequence of events from today. I mean I know Cody pushed me out of the road but who took me to my house? He couldn't have known which house was mine, I mean there's like ten houses in this street. After a few moments and a killer headache I decided it was best to take some Tylenol pm (sleeping pill) and try to go to sleep.
