Cody had finally caught up with me and was now walking alongside me to my house.
"Let's do math homework together." He stated casually and kept walking.
Cody and I had almost all the same classes which I don't really know if it's a good thing or a bad thing and I don't know if hanging out was a good thing or a bad thing, but of course my mouth spoke before I could even decide.
"No." I stated, hah you thought I was gonna say yes, well I'm not that easy
"Yes." He said calmly.
"No." I shot back.
"Yes."
"No."
"yesssss." He said smugly.
"No."
"Yes."
"Why?!" I groaned in annoyance but couldn't help but feel a bit fluttered and warm inside. ew. Ash stop.
"Cause. Now don't be rude to your guest, let me in your house and show me around." He said she cheekily with a smirk as we arrived at my door.
"Fine. But only cause I have nothing to do today." I said a bit in denial before reaching behind our garden gnome for my house key and not finding it. "Uh oh...." I mumbled to myself.
"Uh oh? Uh oh, what?" Cody asked confusedly.
I frantically looked around my porch for my house key and groaned with aggravation as it was no where to be found.
"Guess we'll just have to do this the hard way." I stated as I grabbed Cody's hand and yanked him along the side of my house that my window was on. "Mmk. Do your thing."
"What thing?" He asked, confused yet again.
"God Cody keep up with the program and lift me up" I said as I pointed up to the window.
He looked up from me to the window before groaning and picking me up, throwing me over his shoulder before I yelped.
"HAHA WHAT THE FÛCK WAS THAT?! DID I ACTUALLY ASH, THE 'ALMIGHTY TOUGH GIRL' SCREAM?!" He laughed and I guess came up with a nickname for me along the way.
"No! and I said lift me up not pick me up! There's a difference!" I yelled and squirmed as I was still over his shoulder.
Eventually we got up into my house through my window and collapsed onto the ground exhaustedly.
"I don't think I wanna do homework anymore." he groaned and sat up off the ground.
"Then don't do it." I stated the obvious.
"I can't just not do it." He said with a rather sassy eye roll.
"Aww is someone a goody goody?" I smirked and looked at him as I bit my lip.
He shook his head again before looking at me and.... Blushing? Did he just? Is he? No..
Cody must've noticed that I noticed him blushing because soon he told me to stop biting my lip, causing me to blush. Stop. It. Cody.
We had laid on the cold wooden floors of my bedroom for a few minutes in silence as we gathered our thoughts of what to say to each other. I stared up at my ceiling before sighing quietly as I thought about Cody. Why do I always get this weird little feeling with him? I barely know him. He's such an egotistic brat, he shouldn't be making me feel this stupid way it's not like I lik-
