<Ash POV>
BEEP BEEP BEEP
I woke up to my annoying alarm clock that I still haven't gotten used to, of course then again who would want to get used to something that wakes you up telling you to go to school. No one.
After I aggressively unplugged my alarm clock and threw it across my room I laid back down, staring at my ceiling.
"Great can't wait for yet another day of being called 'Just Ash' by half of my teachers and being stared at by other kids who I guess haven't gotten it through their heads that I'm new. Oh and having to push past any of the people that saw the commotion at the party which was basically everyone."
I thought before my thoughts suddenly got interrupted by the sound of a yelp and twigs breaking.
"What the..?" I said as I jumped out of bed and looked out my window in which, yes I still haven't gotten blinds or curtains for.
As soon as I looked out my window and downwards to see what type of animal could've produced that high pitched of a squeal I realized what it was. My. Brother.
I quickly ran back to lock my bedroom door to make sure my mom or stepdad couldn't come in just in case for whatever reason they aren't at work and ran back to the window and opened it.
"Nash what the f.uck are you doing?!" I whispered yelled as he wasn't supposed to be here.
It's not that we didn't want him living with us, it's just that he and my mom had gotten into a fight about rules and so my mom kicked him out since he thought he was old enough to do anything he wanted (keep in mind this was before he had to go to boarding school) and so now that he's out of boarding school he's a senior and hasn't said much to our mom.
"Ash unlock the front door!" He yelled up.
"Nash stop yelling or someone's going to hear you!" I raised my voice, not even listening to my own advice.
"Besides what're you even doing here?" I groaned groggily as I got up out of bed for an irrelevant reason.
"Ash you love me right? Like I'm your favorite brother and you'd help me out?" He questioned.
"Uhm I think love is a pretty strong word" I said as I laughed at my own joke. "And Nash, you're my only brother."
He sighed and looked up at me pleadingly. "Yeah yeah but Ash seriously you'd help me out if I needed anything right?"
"I guess..? Depends." I stated and crossed my arms before huffing, noticing that I needed to start getting ready for school.
"I need somewhere to stay.." He admitted as he rubbed the back of his head seemingly embarrassed.
"What do you mean? Where've you been staying? I thought you had an apartment?" I bombarded him with questions.
"I did but then my buddy moved out and then so did my other buddy so it was just me and I can't afford it alone.." He sighed and looked up at me through my window.
"Look...Nash you can stay but if you get caught then you can't rat me out, and besides where will you even stay in the house?" I asked as I glanced back at my door and back to him.
He crossed his arms as he thought "I don't know I haven't even seen the house, is there any basement or attic or something?"
"Well there's a coat closet?" I suggested.
"Yeah yeah perfect!" He yelled a bit too loud.
"SHH!" I shushed him. "You have to be quite, look around the front of the house, is there a truck there or a black car?"
"Uhmmm" he hummed out as he creeped around the front. "No"
"Okay, no one is home so you're lucky, just come round front and I'll unlock the door and show you around the house." I said unlocking my door and running downstairs to open the front door"
As I unlocked it he approached and slowly walked inside with a smirk on his face.
"Niceee" he chuckled. "Now where's my soon to be home?"
"Over there" I directed him before showing him around the rest of the house.
"Now you have to make sure that when you come in and out of that closet you do not. And I repeat DO NOT get caught under any circumstances!" I said sternly and got a nod in return.
"Now I have so go to school but if you ever see a truck or moms car approach the house, run back to your coat closet" I said as I crossed my arms and began making my way upstairs.
"Uhm what're you talking about?" He questioned.
"What?" I asked back.
He laughed and crossed his arms. "It's Sunday you twat"
"Ha ha ha very funny it-" I began saying sarcastically before thinking back. Yesterday was...f.uck.
"Well there goes my last day to sleep in" I sighed in frustration.
"Great job sis, anyways just to let you know, I'll be out most of the time considering I still have a job to work so you won't really have to worry about me getting caught" he nodded.
"Oh okayy but seriously Nash don't get caught and rat me out or I will potentially snap your neck in your sleep" I laughed half jokingly.
He laughed along with me and nudged me. "Yeah yeah, shall I get settled into my humble abode?"
"Yeah but you're gonna be cramped" I laughed.
All of that morning I spent crowding the coat closet which would now be his home, with blankets and pillows and some water bottles, We even got time to catch up on everything before our mom came home.
