Rohit got angry when Ruhi teased him once again and his friends started laughing loudly after listening to Ruhi. One boy laughed and said, “Rohit, you will get married to this fat girl.”

“Rohit, we feel very bad for you, you will get married to this potato-like girl.”

“Rohit, you go and tell your mother that you don't want to marry this fat girl or else she will get you married to her.”

Saying such things, they all kept laughing at Ruhi, hearing which Ruhi's face turned pale. Rohit said to her in a loud voice, “Ruhi, go from here. ” but Ruhi shook her head in her childishness and stubbornness and said, “No, I want to play with you, you come with me or else I will not go.”

This made Rohit even more angry. He suddenly removed his hand from Ruhi's hand due to which Ruhi's steps faltered and she fell down on the ground and her doll also fell from her hand.

Rohit was shocked for a moment and then said to Ruhi, “How many times should I tell you that I don't want to play with you. Go away from here and these people are right, I will never marry you.” Saying this Rohit left from there and his friends also went with him laughing.

Ruhi was watching Rohit leaving with tears in her eyes. After some time she also got up and went away from there crying, but she forgot to pick up her doll. Some time after Ruhi left, Rohit came back to that place. He picked up the doll lying on the ground and cleaned the dust on it.

Rohit's face had also completely turned sad at this time. By now it had become night. He came to his house with the doll and kept it in his cupboard in his room. It was very late at night so he went to sleep.

While lying on the bed while sleeping, he said to himself, “I will give Ruhi her doll tomorrow and will also say sorry to her. Today I behaved very badly with her and also talked very dirty.  Poor girl, she was crying because of me, I will say sorry to her and give her ice cream, then she will be happy and if she still doesn't listen then I will play house with her." Saying this he fell asleep smiling.

The next morning he woke up and after having breakfast went straight to Ruhi's house but when he reached her house he saw that the door was locked. He came back to his house and asked Surekha, then Surekha told him that Ruhi's father's health deteriorated a lot and that's why they left at night. On hearing this Rohit's face completely turned sad, due to not being able to meet Ruhi.

Rohit used to wait for Ruhi to return every day and used to ask Surekha when she would come, when they would come but 3 months passed and Ruhi did not come.

Rohit used to say sorry to that doll thinking it to be Ruhi. One day Bharti came to Mumbai with her son to meet her father but Ruhi was not with her. Rohit heard that Ruhi wanted to stay with her father only, so she did not come and on hearing this Rohit felt very, very bad.

The regret of not being able to say sorry to Ruhi remained in his mind till today and Ruhi was never met.  With time, many childhood memories faded but Rohit could never forget Ruhi and that day.

Flashback End_

Thinking all this, Rohit himself did not know when a little moisture came in his eyes. He said caressing the doll's cheek in the same way, "From childhood till today, I have not been able to say sorry to you, Ruhi, but now that I have found you, I will definitely say sorry to you. When I saw you outside the college, I felt that I know you very well and when Bhabhi told me that you are Ruhi, I felt like taking a U-turn and coming to you. Then when I met you at the party, I could not stop looking at you. You were looking so beautiful that I did not know when that small chubby girl became a model type and I got so lost in looking at you that I forgot to talk to you. Even after that, I did not get a chance to talk to you at the party. But maybe I will have to create a chance, Ruhi, otherwise you will go away again." Saying this, Rohit hugged the doll to his chest and closed his eyes.
