Jiyeon rang the doorbell of Hyeri's house, standing still like a statue with a mind full of thoughts on how she just absentmindedly agreed to meet Jeonghan for the second time.

The brown wooden door swung open, revealing a worried Hyeri who immediately pulled her niece into her warm embrace.

Hyeri has no idea what happened on the date but as soon as she witnessed her niece standing like a statue, through the hole in the door, she knew she had to give her a hug.

Jiyeon responded to the hug almost immediately, wrapping her arms around her aunt's waist. She doesn't know why her aunt just pulled her into her arms but she felt comforted and safe, so she didn't let go.

"Did it not go well?" Hyeri asked, slightly pulling away from the hug. Jiyeon opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by her aunt. "Let's go inside, first. Then tell me everything."

Hyeri held Jiyeon's hand and guided her inside the house, making sure to lock the door to avoid any kind of robbery or worse things possible.

The both girls walked into the living room and sat on the couch, but Hyeri abruptly stood back up almost immediately. "Should I make you some hot chocolate? You'll feel better if you have some hot chocolate, your hands are freezing,"

Jiyeon let out a sigh, following after with a short giggle as she watched her aunt worry and panic.

She knows her more than anyone does. She may always have a confident and brave appearance but deep down, when it comes to her favourite niece, Hyeri can get quite the opposite of who she appears to be, majority of the time.

Jiyeon pulled her aunt back and made her fall on her butt on the sofa, back to where she was supposed to be. "I'm totally fine. You're panicking for no reason."

Hyeri held Jiyeon's hand in her own tightly, staring into her eyes and trying to communicate through them.

Hyeri, despite being just ten years older than Jiyeon, has always had a motherly love for Jiyeon. Sometimes people would mistake Hyeri for her mother; when they see her motherly care and endearment towards her, and other times, they happen to mistake them as cousins because of how young Hyeri looks.

To Jiyeon, Hyeri is like a best friend, and a mother which she never really had despite having one. Jiyeon has always been so free and open with her aunt, sometimes she forgets that she's her aunt.

And Hyeri never saw her as anything any less, neither did Jack. They both adore Jiyeon more than anything. Hyeri has no children, unfortunately, she isn't able to reproduce.
