Hey hey hey!! :D So I am back with a brand new chapter! :) As you can see this chapter is going to be in Annas POV. I just figured that since it is her very special surprise from Nash that I should have her seeing it for the first time and not just Nash explaining her seeing the surprise. So here we go! Chapter Eighteen

(Annas POV)

I can't believe that Nash did this.

I step further beyond the path and just gawk. Its all I can do at this point.

I open my mouth to speak. To tell him how unbelievably amazing this is. But I can't. Word will not even come out of my mouth. So end up closing it again.

I look up at the twinkling lights strung along the trees. Shining like the stars I have always loved.

This is beyond beautiful. I turn to Nash to see him smiling. I just stare at him, my mouth agape.

Then I see him make a small head gesture towards a cluster of trees. I look to where he is nodding but I see nothing.

I look back towards Nash with a confused expression but he just laughs a light chuckle that I can feel in my spine. I watch as the crinkles at the corners of his beautiful green eyes shine.

He takes a step towards me and places his hand on the small of my back.

I can still feel the same tingles.

He leads me towards the small opening of the cluster and there I see it.

Our tree house.

The very house that was destroyed the summer we were 10.

How is this even possible? I was there the day after it happened. There was nothing left. Only scraps of wood and nails and our stuff scattered all over the clearing.

But non the less, here it is.

Standing as if nothing has ever happened to it.

Like it was when we were young.

I look over at Nash and mutter the only word that can escape from my mouth at the moment "...How?"

He simply smiles at me. "I re-build it."

"...When?" I question

"I finished it before finals. It was going to be a surprise for your birthday. But I figured since I had it finished and your birthday still isn't for a couple of months, why not surprise you with it now?" He smiles.

"So, do you like it? I mean I know you used to love it when we were kids but I don't know how'd you feel about it now. Seen as you are a teenager now. You know this was probably a stupid idea for a date. We could go somewhere else if you like. A restaurant maybe?" He starts rambling. A small blush on his cheekbones.

"Nash..." I say stopping his ramble. "It's amazing. And I still love it as I always have. Though I think I love it more now. Because you re-built it for me. I just- I can't believe you would do all of this..."

He smiles. "I'd do anything for you Anna. You know that." He says looking into my eyes. And then I know he means it.

And then I also know, that I... That I love him. In this moment seeing all that he has done for me... I realize that I love my best friend.

Although I'd never been able to tell him that. For two reasons.

1. He'd never feel the same. He might like me now and he might say that this between us can work but I don't know how he'd feel about actually being with me long term.
