Chapter Three

(Nash's POV)

Watching her come down the stairs with her bag in tow I couldn't help but smile. All I could think about how in just a matter of weeks, she would be mine. Well, hopefully.

Struggling to get down the stairs she looks up at me and says "Little help here dude? I've got 2 weeks worth of stuff in here, and it's not exactly light." When she says this I start laughing and then jog up to meet her, grabbing her big duffel bag off her shoulder.

"Hey, so I ordered the pizza and told them to deliver it to my place. So we should probably get going. By the time we get to my place now, we MIGHT catch the pizza guy. What took you so long anyway?" I ask, laughing when she sticks her tongue out at me again for the second time today. "Do you have any idea how long it takes to put 2 weeks worth of outfits together, accounting for spills AND the weather?" she says in an annoyed tone.

"Oh.."

"Yeah 'Oh'" she says in a winning tone.

"Oh Anna.. You do know we have a washer and dryer at my house right?" I ask with a bored expression on my face. She looks at me and literally face palm's, and makes some unrecognizable noise. "...Right. I-I ah forgot I guess. I was just thinking that I had to pack my bag for 2 weeks, and there was no washer or dryer and I didn't even think about that fact that I could always come back, to get more clothes." she winces. Almost like it pains her to be so air headed. I busted out laughing anyway, she stands there scowling at me but I can't seem to stop myself from laughing. But soon she joins in with me, we both end up laughing at her. For someone as smart as her she can be awfully spacey.

"Come on Smart ass. Lets go to my place and get some eats..." I smile at her. I sling one of my arms over her shoulder and pull her close to me and then we start walking towards the door. I grunt as I pull her bag higher on my other shoulder, practically dragging it out the door.

Sitting in her car driving to my house I watch her as she bops and sings along to the radio oldies.

Eventually we both start singing, how could you not? I mean not only are the song catchy, but when Anna is like this, when she is happy like this, you have to join in. It's like a need. You need to feel that same joy she feels. That's what she does to people. She makes them want to feel joy again. She doesn't really give anyone a chance to choose, because being around her instantly cheers you up. We're singing at the top of our lungs, laughing our asses off, and people are staring, but I really don't care. I am too happy to be here with her, right now in this moment. With the kind of joy most people only have when they are children. That makes me smile more.

Pulling up to my place I got so excited. This is where everything between us is going to change. Where I'm finally going to tell her how I feel, and hopefully she'll say she feels the same way.

I'm so excited that I don't even see my parents car in the drive, until Anna says something about it. "When are your parents supposed to leave? I thought you said they were already gone?" Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit! "They were supposed to already be gone. I guess the flight got delayed or something." I say getting out of the car.

Crap, they don't know Anna's staying with me. I hope they don't ruin everything by asking her why she has a bag full of clothing... It's not like they would care that Anna's staying with me. They love Anna. I just hope they don't ask her about it... because if they ask her about it, then she'll know I was lying when I said they didn't want me to stay alone.
