*Ava POV*
Woah! It's big. Believe it or not, I've never actually been to this mall. I'm not really a "mall-fan", I like to go shopping and all, but I mean, my parents aren't really "mall-fan's" either so I guess we just don't regularly go to the mall. And if we do, well, let me just say that we haven't been to this specific one. And let me tell you, it's big. Really big!
We enter the mall and all-of-a-sudden, I just get really hyped up and I'm just too excited to go any further. I stop, and just admire the beaty, the AC, the people who are sitting on the benches, the shops, the beeping thing which beeps every time someone leaves a store without buying the product, basically stealing something. All the girls look at me like I'm a freak.
"Ava, stop! You're embarrassing us, you don't just walk into a mall and stop. You're acting like it's your first time to actually be in a mall. Seriously, just keep walking" Chloe shouts in a whispering way. She's not that close to me so she's not actually whispering to my ear, she's just like whispering out loud. I don't know how to describe it, but yea.
"I haven't been to this mall. So technically, I should be acting like it's my first time here because it's true!" I whisper out loud back to her. "What?! No way! OMG! You haven't been here?!? Seriously, Ava. What are you like tourist or something???? Ava what the hell?! How could you have not been in this mall. It's the biggest mall in the state, you idiot!" Typical Cathy. What's the big deal? I'm just admiring the mall, and what's wrong with not coming to a mall like this. If you have parents like mine, you'd understand.
"Guys! Do you mind? And Ava, hurry up. People are staring at us." Cara says. She's probably the most mature out of us. She doesn't speak so much, but when she does, she always has the right thing to say. Sometimes I hate it. It's just always so true and so right that it bothers me. Sometimes, I just don't wanna know the truth, you know what I mean?
"We've got a lot to show you! You're gonna have the best time of your life Ava. Come on!" Chloe says, as we finally begin to walk.
*Cathy POV*
She hasn't been to this mall?! Really?! That's the weirdest thing I've heard all day, and I've heard some weird stuff today! Damn, it felt like we were in the car for a YEAR! I'm not even kidding. But what the hell? How could she have not been to this mall?!?! Cara said that we were loud or something, but honestly, we were like as quiet as a rat.
How, though?! You've been living here for I don't know how many years and you haven't even been to this mall?! It's the biggest mall in the state, everybody's been to it! I understand she doesn't have the "best" parents or however she describes them, but c'mon, it's a mall, and the most well-known mall in the state, how could you not go to it???
Whatever, she's missing out. There's literally everything you could possibly wish for in this mall, it's crazy! It's like the best mall in the WORLD. I've never travelled further than America, and I already know that this mall is better than every other mall out there, that's how good it is! It's just amazing, simply amazing. If it wasn't for us, and she dies before coming to this mall, she'd regret not coming, honestly. It's the best thing that's happened in my life, just coming to this mall. You might think I'm over exaggerating and I'm a "drama-queen" like they all call me and tell me, but I'm not, you have to believe me!
*Cara POV*
I don't even wanna be seen with these girls, not in any public place besides the school, if that's considered public. Technically, it's a public school, so I would consider it a public place. That would be the only public place I'd wanna be seen with the girls. They're so dramatic and loud and just uncontrollable, and that puts everyone's eyes on us. I try as hard as possible to manage them and just get them to keep walking and not making too much sound so that less people can stare at us, but considering it's Chloe, Courtney, Ava and CATHY (note how I said wrote CATHY in capital letters), we'd definitely have people staring, which is quite frustrated.
I love to be fun and I love to laugh and everything, it's just that you've got to know when to do what you wanna do. I'm really in the mood of having fun and just laughing my head off right now, especially since I'm with the girls, but I can't, because it's not polite, and it shows no manners, especially since we're in the mall, meaning that we're in a public area. The girls just don't seem to get that, I guess they were just never taught that. I would expect Ava to be the most reasonable, and know what she's doing, considering we're in a mall, but the fact that she's never been to this mall doesn't really help my situation right now.
Come on. It's still a mall. Plus, who's not been to this mall?! It's the biggest mall in California. South Coast Plaza, everyone knows it, and everyone's been to it. Well, at least everyone in Cali. I'm sure she's heard of it and she knows a lot about it, but maybe it's just that she's never physically been to it, which is still quite unbelievable.
*Ava POV*
Would they stop making a big deal about not being to this mall? Like seriously, it's a mall. Wow, I've never been to South Coast Plaza, big deal! Grow up guys. It doesn't really help that I'm saying this while looking at this mall like I've never seen a mall before, even tourists don't do that, but I just wanna make the most out of it. I know that I'm never gonna come back, not when my parents are around at least, so I might as well...
We're all laughing and just having fun, maybe being a bit loud but that's ok, it's how we are, even if we get those nasty stares by people walking by, like come on, we're teenage girls in a big mall on a Friday afternoon, what do you expect?
Cara's acting like she doesn't know us, which is strange. She's being really serious and she isn't having fun with us, I don't understand. Ok, I get the fact that Cara's the most mature and reasonable one out of us, but it's ok to have fun, it's not a bad thing. Plus, so what if people give us those stares, let them stare, what is there to look at? I'm kinda getting annoyed at Cara, I feel like she's not making anything out of this whole mall trip, and it's probably the first and last time I ever come to the mall with them, or anywhere besides school, stop acting like an adult and just act like a teenage girl in the mall with a bunch of her friends, it's typical, it's not a big deal!
