"So, do you have everything, Venice?" Pete asked while they were standing outside of Venice's new school.
"I think so" Venice nodded.
"Ok, so let's go" Pete said and looked at Vegas who nodded and all three of them went inside to find Venice's classroom. Since Vegas was quite familiar with the layout of the school he had no issue to navigate there and soon he led them to the classroom for the 4th graders.
"Hello, you must be Venice. I've been told I'll have a new student in my class" A man who was standing outside of the door leading to the classroom greeted them when he noticed them.
"You're Venice's teacher?" Pete asked and the man smiled and nodded.
"Professor Yamada, am I right?" Vegas said, hoping he remembered the name correctly from when Macau was a student in this school.
"Yes, it's nice to see you again, Khun Theerapanyakun" the teacher nodded and smiled a bit and Vegas did as well.
"First day at a new school can be quite challenging so don't hesitate to come to me if you have any questions or if you'd have any problems, alright Venice?" the teacher looked at Venice who nodded while curiously looking around.
"Don't you dare to even thing about trying any of Macau's secret exits" Vegas warned amused him when he looked at his son who chuckled a bit.
"Your brother sure did help us to level up the security of our school a lot by managing to slip out without us knowing about it" the teacher laughed a bit and Pete and Vegas did as well.
"How is he doing? He got accepted to college, am I right? What field did he choose to go for?" the man asked.
"He did, yes, thank you for asking" Vegas nodded "He decided to go for computer science, mostly cyber security. And he's doing alright. He complains all the time about all the work he has to do while studying there but I think he really enjoys it"
"I am sure he will do just fine. When we actually managed to bring him to focus on the studies he never had any issues with keeping his grades up. Tell him I say hi and wish him good luck in his studies" the professor said and Vegas nodded and thanked him again for his interest in his former student.
"We'll come pick you up after school, ok? We'll be waiting where we parked this morning so you should find us there with no issues" Pete told Venice when it was time for him and Vegas to leave and when Venice nodded and thanked them Pete moved a bit closer as if to hug him but since he wasn't sure if Venice would want that he changed his mind and settled for placing his hand on Venice's shoulder and squeezed it a bit while wishing him good luck and to have fun on his first day in a new school before Venice disappeared in the classroom.
"Do you think he will be alright?" Pete asked a bit nervously while they were leaving the school.
"He'll be fine, love" Vegas nodded.
"Is the teacher good? Do you know him well?" Pete asked while they were heading to their car.
"Macau never had any complaints about him, which says a lot since he tend to whine about pretty much anything related to the school... he still does actually" Vegas joked a bit and Pete laughed shortly.

"Alright class, before we start I'd just like to say that as you might have noticed we have a new student here, Venice. I trust you all that you will welcome Venice here and will help him with anything he will need to" professor Yamada said when the class began and gestured to Venice who was sitting at one of the desks.
