I was doing so well with my posts, but look at where I am back now, back to square 2673 D:
Sorry for the late part! I hope you enjoy it at least!

(SLIGHT) GORE
~
An old TV clicks on and hums to life. An episode title appears on screen, flickering in and out softly.
Leaning back on their chair, a viewer of the show raises an eyebrow, surprised at this new character.
"This will be interesting..."

Nickel blinked open his eyes, looking around in surprise. He let go of Taco's leg and looked at her for confirmation. Was this how an episode was supposed to be like? This place was empty, white only surrounding them. Taco stood up, narrowing her eyes. She tried to stop the rising panic in her mind. She was fine. Totally fine. There was no way she was going to lose-
"Uh, Taco?" Nickel asked. "Where... are we?"
Taco slipped her arms back in her shell. "I call this the Waiting Room. This is where we wait until the episode starts." Her gaze drifted to a holographic timer on the wall.
Nickel followed her eyes and raised an eyebrow at the timer. "So... we just wait? Do we even know what the episode's about?"
"We'll be told in our minds." Taco responded, still looking at the timer. "It will just come naturally."
"Freaky," Nickel furrowed his brows. So someone was speaking telepathically to him? That was odd.
The two sat in silence as they waited for the timer to tick down. Nickel awaited for the worst, knowing that whatever was going to happen probably wouldn't be good. He wished to be back home, where things would be toned down, and he didn't have to go on any weird adventures. But at the same time, he was slowly getting used to this cartoony world. He sighed, knowing that he shouldn't get attached to here. Taco on the other hand, was going through a crisis. She didn't know wether she was truly herself. What if she was slowly going insane? It seemed like it to her. She just had to keep believing that everything was going to be okay. They would find an escape soon. But the longer they stayed here, the worse their situation would get. It could eventually lead to them being 'fixed.' Taco would try everything in her power to stop that happening again.
Nickel blinked nervously as it counted down from 10. He had no clue what would happened once it reached zero. He turned to ask Taco, but seeing her distant expression, he figured that she wasn't in the right headspace. So, he warily glued his eyes on the timer, watching as it ticked down from 5.

Nickel squeezed his eyes shut, expecting for the worse. But with a pop, the white space turned into an exact replica of the showgrounds. He and Taco were sitting on the ground, and faint wacky music could be heard. Nickel, who's eyes were somehow opened, tried his best not to look surprised. He could feel eyes on him, as if they were watching his every move. Taco had a blank expression, as if she was expecting him to say something first. Nickel immediately felt words told in his mind- a script being telepathically sent to him. He sighed. He just had to do this episode, then they could leave this realm. Might as well get this over with.
