In a vast, bright yellow desert, an object tuned their guitar, sitting on a rock. They strummed it, humming a tune. After their brief moment of playing, they set down on the sandy floor and grabbed their pouch and knife. After all, they were alone in the desert. Who knew what dangers awaited them? Sure, it was a cartoon world, but they had seen things no one else had, and knew what could happen. So, they did everything they could to keep safe, and that meant travelling alone in the desert.

The object walked a short while, glancing around for any signs of trouble. The sandy ground tickled their bare feet. Sighing, they sat down and wrapped their legs with some bandages kept in their pouch. That was better. Smiling, the object kept walking.

Was it boring, being lonely and by themself? Well, sure. They had grown up having others to take care of and talk to, but at this point, they were pretty used to it. They had been here for quite a long time. There was no point in wishing... was there?

Suddenly, they paused. After a moment, they groaned out of annoyance. "Seriously? How is... always finding himself in trouble? You'd think they'd fine a way to escape." They face-palmed themself after a realization. "I forgot... could do that... great. Now I have to save... and the other one."

Their eyes shimmered a bright white as an aura surrounded them, and in a quick flash, they were gone. The desert was now empty, tumbleweeds drifting across the ground and a few palm trees swaying in the wind. Suddenly, there was another flash, and they returned.

"Alright there." Their shimmering eyes brightened. "Now I can help... out.. hopefully."

Balloon knocked on the door of Baseball's room. He waited a few moments as he heard shuffling, rocking back and forth and swinging a basket. The door opened slightly and Baseball's gaze drifted down to the smaller object. The large ball opened the door all the way and gave the other a small smile.

"Hey, Balloon. Do you need anything?" Baseball asked, raising an eyebrow.

Balloon smiled back. "Well... uhm, not really." His high-pitched voice answered. "With everything going on- from the disappearance to Lightbulb- I just wondered if you wanted to go on a picnic with me! It could keep our mind off the scarier things..."

Balloon held up the picnic basket for Baseball to see. Baseball thought for a moment, then responded. "Sure thing! I have been kind of bored... and who could say no to free food?"

Balloon giggled. "Come on! I found the perfect place!" He dashed off.

"Wait up-!" Baseball rolled his eyes and went after him.

Balloon rushed down the halls until he found the elevator and pressed the button, waiting for it to open. He entered the elevator, then looked back at Baseball and frowned, noticing a problem. Baseball was too big for the elevator.
