21- the source dragon (part 4 of the finale)

There was a flash and then nothing.
Silence.
He was gone, their teacher, their brother, their friend.

A small smolder of smoke was all that was left. Lord ras was tapping his claws on a large tank that was connected to the machine. It had a gold metallic liquid inside with purple and green swirls in it. He had a sick and twisted grin on his face that spelled joy at the groups loss.

"What are you gonna do now without your precious green ninja to save you? What, you gonna cry?" He said with obviously false compassion in his voice.

This was the last straw for the dark lord. The moment rapton walked in,

"Lord ras! I-"

There was a crunching of bones as rapton's lifeless body fell to the ground with his neck in an ungodly position. His neck bones shattered. Garmodon stood there in rage and grief. He was breathing heavily with fiery streaming down his midnight cheeks.

Nya, with everything setting in, ran over to the container that her brother was just in and started banging repeatedly on the walls, screaming out Lloyd's name and begging for it to all be just a cruel nightmare and that she'd wake up. Kai and Cole , who were crying as well, had to drag her away forcefully, she was thrashing around and having a meltdown. The child who she saw grow from a lonely bratty child into a sweet caring young man, was dead. His power, his life force being all that was left.

Arin and sora were in grief and shock and Eden, she just sat in silence. The quiet was broken by her broken, venge filled laughter as she was clearly broken by the situation. He laughs turned into screams of pain and tears of regret.

Lord ras was enjoying the sight, up until a scientist started bothering him.

S : "sir? Sir! Lord ras? LORD RAS!"

L r : "what!"

S : "sorry sir! But the energy levels are spiking! It's going to blow up-"

They were all caught off guard by the sudden explosion.

They laid in the middle of the destroyed building. Nya was the first to wake up from her short black out. The hissing in her ears and the blurred vision disoriented her. She tried to stand but her legs gave way. She crawled over to Kai, wincing in pain. She was covered in grease bruises and cuts, so was Kai. She panicked, she couldn't lose any more of her family. She was relieved when he took a gasp of air and sat up. She and Kai stumbled over to the others.  The glass tank was completely shattered and empty. Where could have all that power gone? And what could have caused that explosion? Those questions were answered when Nya looked up to see a humongous gold/green/purple dragon towering over them.

'A source dragon?' She wondered. She looked up into its pupil-less eyes, and their gazes met.
"Lloyd," Nya whispered under her breath.

The rest of them looked up and came to the same conclusion. Eden and Arin were out of their chains, Eden having her hands cupped over mouth.

"Is that!" Arin asked

"Yes, yes it is" the titanium ninja replied.

Lloyd looked pissed, he had a look of anger and revenge in his eyes. Ras stood up and ran over to the second of command. With rapton being dead, that soldier was now in control.

"GET ME MY FUCKING ARMY RIGHT NOW!!" Lord ras screamed in his face.

"GET THE ENTIRE ARMY!!!" The soldier relayed. The army that was there and ready before hand had armed their weapons and the rest joined, also loading their weapons. The soldiers all shot at Lloyd, this had no effect other than to bother him. He turned to face the group and opened his mouth. In moments there were fires and explosions that had killed ninety percent of the army.

The beam that had caused such serious damage was purple and destructive in nature, and yet was made of fire. Dragon powers mixed with an onis one, something that had never been done or thought to be possible up until now. 

"Lloyd!!!!" Sora and arin called out but he didn't respond to his name. Arin had tears streaming and staining his soft cheeks. The man he had considered his father was gone.

Lord ras rushed at the source dragon in a final attempt, with his army being massacred. Lloyd pounced on him and healed him to the ground however. He started pushing the end of his claw into ras' chest causing blood to spirt and splatter out every where (one of his claws are like the size of ras). His armer was no use as it was dented and broken. His heart was pierced and mutilated. His guts were an unrecognizable mixture of blood and flesh. His face contorted into something than not even a mother could love (not like she loved him anyway 💀).  With every one of his enemies dead, the ninja came over to Lloyd. He looked and scanned them all and found them unrecognizable, only a small sense of familiarity and safety lingered in his mind.

"Lloyd! I'm so glad you're ok!" Nya said running over to hug one of his claws, but Lloyd tilted his head in confusion and moved his paw away.

"Hey! Buddy, it's Kai, your big bro, you remember me?" Lloyd lowered his head to prod at the fire ninja with his snout. When his didn't recognize him, he took a few steps back.

Garmodon walked forward and held his hand up to his son. "Lloyd," he spoke softly with compassion
"My son, my beautiful son,"

As the ex- warlord held his had up, Lloyd recoiled his head and let out a low deep growl, leaving garmadon hurt and broken.

Lloyd from the tip of his tail, slowly started fading into green specks of what seemed like glittering ash, and was soon, gone with the wind...

One more chapter pookies!!!!! The next one will be a sign off chap, finishing and completing the book, anyway, dragon Lloyd :3
