In the first realm area

The temple that had laid dormant was now buzzing with power and a glow. Faith noticed this and immediately called the ninja on one of the radios that Lloyd had left her in case of an emergency.

F :"ninja! Are you there! I need the ninja!"

Then the line cut to static.

Since imperium was closer than the monastery or ninjago to the first realm, it only took a few hours to get there. Faith had told them to meet her by the child of the first realm's temple. When they arrived, all of them climbed off the bounty, all except Lloyd.

"Where is the green ninja?" Faith asked.

Nobody responded and Nya started welling up with tears again, crying her heart out in silent whimpers.
Faith knew what this ment. She turned to Kai, but he was also a mess. Over the past day, everyone had fallen to pieces, the only one who trained was nya, she trained and trained and trained until she passed out from exhaustion. And Kai, the Kai who usually made sure he was picture perfect, couldn't give a shit about what he looked like. The rest just sat in silence. Especially Arin. Losing his parents and then Lloyd took a toll on him. He hadn't spoken since the incident. Eden, after the battle she went on a full on rampage killing anybody who was involved with imperium. She refused to let her lover die without repercussions. Garmadon had only managed to convince her to stop by reminding her that this was the opposite of what Lloyd would have wanted.

When the group had arrived at faiths camp, they took some of her vehicles and headed to the temple. The entire trip was in silence. Nobody said a word. They traveled in groups of three: Nya Kai and Cole, Zane sora and arin, and faith Eden and garmadon. Wildfire was left to look after the dragons as she didn't want to come along.

When they arrived at the temple, the door was already cracked open from their last visit.

Everything was left the way it was. Kai walked up to the podium as he was the one who knew what to do. He charged up the stand and the ying yang symbol on the wall behind it glowed with power, one side gold and the other purple, with a green outline lining the symbol.

Kai stepped back and there was a small flash. Then Lloyd was there. He was different though. He wasn't in his gi, he was in some sort of robe with the symbol of the oni and the dragon on each side. He was a transparent green as well and he had a slight glow to him.

"who are you?" Lloyd asked with innocence in his voice.

"Oh Lloyd! Please come back," Nya said clutching at his hand, but she didn't touch anything "Come home Lloyd,"

Lloyd, who seemed to be just a hologram of elemental and oni energy, was confused at her statement.
"But I am home, this is where I belong."

Nya started bawling her eyes out, and garmadon came to comfort her. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "Son, do you have any memory of us at all?"

"No, should I?"

"No, it's ok, but answer me this, why do you choose this form then?"

"I can take many forms, but this, it just feels right I guess," Lloyd responded, looking down at his transparent hands,

It was Kai's turn to say his goodbyes. "I promised I would protect you, I have tried my best and failed, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry!" He said before he collapsed onto his knees and his words becoming a gargle of tears and a mumbling of unrecognizable words.

"Lloyd, you have been the best master a ninja could have had, for both me and sora, and thank you for being the father that I lost and that sora never had," arin said with tears and sora nodding along to everything that he said.

Eden stepped forward finally.
"Lloyd, I know that we didn't have much time together, and that your brother wouldn't allow me to get to close to you, even though I did," she chuckled through the tears at that last part " but I truly loved, and still do love you Lloyd garmadon, you made me feel safe, you made me feel loved and at home, something I was missing my entire life until I met you, you gave me something I hadn't had after my mother died, a caring family, and I'm sorry it had to end this way, but I love you and will never stop loving you, Lloyd Montgomery garmadon, may you rest in peace," she finished before laying a small purple flower at his glowing feet.

He had a soft smile on his face that even he didn't know why he had one.

The group left the temple in tears and with an odd sense of warmth, knowing that Lloyd was at peace and knowing that it is their job to continue his legacy.
