Gargi's Pov
The night carried on with laughter and occasional tension, the game proving to be a surprising revelation of my brother in law's and friend's desires and quirks.
As the rounds continued, the atmosphere in gazebo remained lively, even amidst the earlier chaos caused by Iti's allergic reaction.
The game progressed with each one of us revealing our hidden desires, leading to unexpected camaraderie and playful banter.
Sidhansh bhai (brother), despite his initial reluctance, found himself reluctantly engaged in the game, his competitive nature against Janvi surfacing subtly.
"Take a shot if you've ever skinny-dipped in the ocean," Sam declared mischievously, prompting giggles and sly glances around the circle.
The innocence of Avyansh bhai's (brother's) reply, that he hadn't due to his phobia, sparked amused chuckles. I too was shocked knowing about bhai's (brother's) phobia.
Meanwhile, Mahi's turn elicited wide-eyed astonishment with her bold declaration.
"Take a shot if you've had a crush on someone at this table," she announced, her gaze lingering teasingly on Ridansh.
This revelation stirred a blend of blushing denials from and knowing smiles.
Soon, we all bid each other good night, and I took the girls to the guest rooms. By now, all the elders must have gone to sleep. We reached the first floor, where all the guests room were located. After assigning the designated rooms, I headed to my own which was on the second floor.
As I made my way to the second floor, I noticed the quiet and calm that had settled over the house. The soft hum of the air conditioning and the distant murmur of the night made the atmosphere feel tranquil. I walked past the staircase and reached my room at the end of the hall.
Upon reaching the room, I received a text from my client and I quickly replied to it. As I was about to open the door, I felt a tug on my wrist and was suddenly pulled inside.
I stumbled slightly as I was pulled into the room, my heart racing. The sudden motion caught me off guard. Inside the dimly lit room, candles were placed on the bedside table, their soft flicker casting dancing shadows on the walls.
The room, once a simple dark shade room was now transformed into a cozy, intimate space with thoughtful touches. String lights were draped around the window, adding a warm glow to the room's ambiance. A bouquet of fresh peonies sat in a vase on the desk, their fragrant scent mingling with the subtle aroma of the candles.
The door clicked shut behind me and I turned to look at my hot and handsome husband standing behind me leaning against the door.
"Surprise baby." Armaan said walking slowly towards me.
