I was so desperately waiting for Sid to come and talk to me yesterday but as everyone left a bit late. He asked me to meet today.
I was exiting the hall way to meet him when I heard.
"Where do you think you are going young man, that too this early in the morning ?"
No doubt it was my dad's voice, when on this earth would he stop calling me from behind.
"Dad I am going to meet Sid." I kept my answer short as I didn't wanted to answer more questions and started moving again when mom said.
"Abhi beta (child), Mahira's dad wants you guys to know each other well. So I have planned a date for you guys today by 12:00 PM in one of Divyansh's hotel go get dressed up nicely and like a gentleman go to her house and pick her up. I don't want any mistakes or you would be homeless for sure." My mom literally ordered me.
"What am I her personal driver? She can come by herself. I am not going to pick her."
"Oh I would love to make you her personal driver if this doesn't go well. Stop throwing tantrums and meet Sid some other day. No more excuses." My mom retorted and I knew there was no way she could listen a no from me.
We are not even married and this trouble maker is already making havoc in my life by making my family against me I wonder what will happen after marrying her.
I went towards my gym and worked out for an hour. I then went to my room to freshen up and wore a black shirt with black pants and a black blazer. I never liked any other colour than black and white. Even my closet and room screamed darkness. I left soon as I didn't want her to complaint to my mom about me being late to the date. I know my mom doesn't leave a chance to taunt me and I don't want to give her another reason.
I descended the stairs and saw my parents smiling.
"Get her flowers, girls like these small gestures." My mom said.
I nodded my head took the blessings and went towards my car. I directly went to the destination as she said she would be a bit late.
