"Mal!" Hailee went up to Mal before she could respond the goddess grabbed her by the wrist, dragging her, "We need to find Evie, walk faster!"

"Ok, I can't exactly walk faster if you are dragging me but tell me why you're dragging me to find Evie with you in the first place?" Mal asked as they went outside into the courtyard.

"You'll see," Hailee sighs, slightly turning her head at Mal.

"Hey, isn't that Evie with Doug," Mal gestured to the table where Doug and Evie were seated.

Mal followed Hailee as they approached them.

"There you are!" When Hailee and Mal arrived at Evie's spot, Hailee exclaimed.

"We've been looking for you literally everywhere!" Hailee continued as she put her hands down on the table while Mal sat in front of Doug.

"What's wrong?" Evie asked Madi, concerned.

"Yeah, you dragged me all the way here," Mal sassed, "So, what's the problem?"

"Well Ben just asked me out on..." Hailee sighed, struggled to get the next few words out, "a date."

"Nice," Doug muttered as Mal and Evie laughed.

"We can handle this," Evie whispered to Hailee before turning to Doug, "Bye," she said before standing up and walking away with the girls.

"You're looking a little pale," Mal told Hailee.

"Well duh, I lived in a dark cave for most my life," Hailee said

"But I can fix that with some lip gloss and some blush," Evie told her.

"Don't make me regret this, E." Hailee looked at Evie as gaining a smile from the latter.

Hailee sat on her bed, in front of Evie, who applied the finishing touches while Mal sat on Evie's bed, legs crossed.

"Okay!" Hailee pushed Evie's hand away, "Easy on the blush. I don't want to scare him away. Not that I could."

"Please," Evie applied more blush on Hailee's face, "My mom taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always upward strokes," She finished, setting the brush down.

"My mom never really needed make up, she was already pretty, not that you or your mom isn't pretty! I just mean that she didn't really wear make up and that-" Hailee panicked as Evie laugh.
