"I am not like everyone Ranvir. I believe in old school love. I don't like today's hookup-breakup culture. All these things are just annoying. I just simply want to live with one partner for whole of my life. Please acche se lo is baare me. "
There were tears in Sia's eyes. She got up from her place when a voice was heard,"Soch lia". Ranvir got up from his seat and looked into Sia's eyes. Before she could think about anything he sat down in his knees and said, "You want to spend your whole life with only one partner and I can't even imagine my life without you Sia. I can't say that I will be the world's best husband because it will be you who will decide this. But I promise that I will try my best to be the one. Please Sia 'Marry Me'. "
Please Marry me Sia. " Sia could feel the truth in Ranvir's eyes. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
"But what if..." before Sia could complete her sentence Ranvir said, "we will resolve it together". She held Ranvir by his shoulders and made him stand and clenched to his chest. After a silence of a few seconds the Hall echoed with many voices.. "Say yes say yes... ". Ranvir made a puppy face and said mischievously to the people around there, " Dekhiye meri baat to ye sun ne se rahi please make her say yes... Pleeeeeaaaaaseee.. "
His actions made Sia laugh. She looked into his eyes which were having only love and hope and then said to the people ,"should I say yes? "
Everyone shouted at once yes yes yes....Both of them giggled. Sia again looked into Ranvir's eyes and said, "YES". After hearing this Ranvir hugged her tightly and caressed her hair. The hall echoed with clappings. Both of them said thanks to the crowd and left from there.
It was 7 o'clock in the evening. Ranvir was going to drop Sia to her house but stopped his car in the midway. Sia asked in surprise, "What? " Ranvir stopped her and got out of the car. Then he opened the door of Sia's side and extended his hand towards her. Sia smiled and placing her hand into his said, "Thanks gentleman". Ranvir replied mischievously, " My pleasure your highness. "
Sia got out of the car. "Why have we stopped here Ranvir?". " For our first date", Ranvir replied mischievously. Sia was confused. She asked with surprise, "Here? " Ranvir nodded his head and lifted her in his arms in one swoop. Sia was shocked by his actions. She hit his arms and asked, "Wha..whatt.. What are u doing Ranvir? Anyone could see us. " Ranvir laughed and made her sit in the car's bonett. He winked his eye and said mischievously, "okay if you are saying so I will make sure that no one would see us."
Sia turned her face and said in shyness, "Just stop it Ranvir. "
Ranvir kissed her forehead and in a very soft tone he said, " Okay baba! I will not tease you anymore, you just sit here . I am coming. " Ranvir left from there. Sia was stunned from that location. She had been living in this city since her birth but had never known that such a beautiful place exists in her city. It was a very peaceful place from where the river was visible. The sun was about to set and its reflection was making the view more romantic. There was no rush no pollution. Birds were chirping and mild winds were breezy. Sia closed her eyes to feel the breeze. It was feeling like the winds were sweeping all her worries and tiredness . She was feeling the breeze then Ranvir hugged her from back Sia giggled and said,"Where were u huh?"
Ranvir replied, "nothing just gathering the stuff for our date. " He extended his hand and showed the packet of his hands. Sia saw the packet and shouted like a child, "Jaleeeebiiii." Snatching the packet from his hand Sia hugged him tightly. Ranvir laughed at her actions and said, "I know you love jalebi more than me. Aur mujhe hamari date pe is sautan ko jhelna hi padega. " Sia laughed and said, "okay ab drama band. Come and sit. " Ranvir nodded his head and sat next to her.
