The car arrived at Sia's grand mansion, a sprawling luxurious estate. Ranvir gallantly opened the car door for Sia, who gracefully stepped out. "Here is your palace, my princess," Ranvir declared. Sia embraced him tightly, whispering, "No, that was a prison. This is my true palace." Ranvir chuckled mischievously, "Ah, so my unromantic girl is now a master of pickup lines?" Sia playfully hit his shoulder, asking, "Why must you tease me so?" Ranvir simply smiled, hugged her, and bid her farewell.
Sia entered her room, changed her clothes, and settled onto her bed. Reflecting on the events of the day, she felt a sense of pride in her decisions. Her cheeks flushed as she reminisced about her actions, unable to believe the depth of love she had received. Picking up her phone, she discovered 15 notifications from Ranvir. Opening them, she was surprised to find pictures of herself sitting on the car's hood lost in thought. In one photo, she was gently tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, resembling a model in a movie scene. The location was incredibly romantic, with the sun beginning to set.
Sia rose from her bed and dialed Ranvir's number. He promptly answered her call. With great enthusiasm, she exclaimed, "These photos are absolutely stunning, Ranvir. When did you take them? They look so professional... ummm, I mean, I know you're a professional photographer, but I never imagined I could look that beautiful, thank you so much." She blurted out everything at once. Ranvir chuckled and replied, "Hold on, madam. Take a breath first. I took these pictures when I was on my way back from the jalebi shop. And you know what... these photos aren't beautiful because of the scenery, my camera, or my skills. You made them beautiful. Just look at yourself in the mirror, you'll see the most beautiful girl in front of you. I'm so lucky that my personal model is the most beautiful girl in the world." Sia fell silent. His words touched her deeply. She knew she wasn't the most beautiful girl in the world, but it didn't matter when she had him. After hesitating for a moment, she asked, "Model? Me?"
Ranvir said, “ yes mam! Aage aage dekhiye hota h kya!”
Sia let out a soft chuckle. "Ranvir, are you available this Sunday?" He replied, "Yes! What's up?" She replied, "I want you to meet my dad." Ranvir stood up from his seat on the sofa and happily exclaimed, "Yes, of course I am free. When are you introducing me to my father-in-law?" Sia grinned and said, "Dad will be at home on Sunday, no meetings. I'll talk to him about it tomorrow." Ranvir said, "Alright, my love! Good night." Sia bid him goodnight and ended the call.Sia woke up early, even before the alarm went off. The clock showed six in the morning. She felt a rush of excitement as she prepared to share the news about Ranvir with her dad. Contemplating how to broach the topic, her phone suddenly rang. A grin spread across her face. It was Ranvir. Answering the call, she heard his groggy voice say, "Good morning Love! Remember we have to talk today." Sia chuckled and replied, "Yes, I remember, but my dad is still asleep. And you? How did you wake up so early? You sound like you're still half-asleep." Ranvir explained, "I was sleeping, but I didn't want to miss today, so I set an alarm last night. You know, even on important days, I struggle to wake up early. I just love sleeping..." Sia laughed, "I know, your sleep is my Sautan No. 2." Ranvir teased, "Okay, but who's your Sautan no. 1?" Sia answered, "Your camera." Ranvir playfully responded, "Oh, you reminded me of that, she's my life." Sia jokingly said, "Alright, enough drama, go back to sleep. I'll take care of everything." With that, she ended the call and headed to the washroom.
It was around 9 in the morning. Sia and her dad were seated at the dining table. Her dad was engrossed in reading the newspaper and watching the news on TV at the same time. Sia hesitantly interrupted him, saying, "Dad! I need to talk to you about something." Without taking his eyes off the newspaper, he replied, "Hmmm.. go ahead." Sia nervously said, "Um... well... I just want you to meet someone." Mr. Rajvanshi's gaze met hers, and she looked down. He asked, "Is there a boy? Tell me." Sia was pleased with his response and said, "Yes, dad. His name is Ranvir, and we love each other. I want you to meet him." Mr. Rajvanshi took a sip of tea and inquired, "Alright. First, tell me, what does he do for a living? Who is his father?" Sia explained, "He's a photographer, Dad. He works for New India magazine. His father passed away when he was 12, and his mother lives with his older brother in their hometown of Bareli. He's in Mumbai for his job. And..."
Before she could say more Mr. Rajvanshi abruptly rose from his seat and hurled the glass of water from his grip. "Are you losing your mind, Sia? Falling in love with a mere photographer? Have you not considered my reputation at all? What will people think when they find out that the son-in-law of the esteemed business tycoon Devrath Rajvanshi is just an ordinary photographer who can't even afford his own home? I will not allow you to marry that man." Sia was taken aback by his words, tears welling up in her eyes. She stood up, her voice trembling, "I don't care about the world, dad. Where was this world when you married a woman much younger than you? When you abandoned your daughter? Where was this world when my mother was suffering?" Mr. Rajvanshi's anger flared even more. He clenched his fists, seething, "Bravo, Sia. Now you dare to speak to me like this, all for that insignificant man. Don't forget that everything you have is because of me. This house, these lavish clothes, your car, even your job. It's all because of me." Sia's anger reached its peak. She retorted, "Fine, dad. Thank you for the house, clothes, car, and everything else you mentioned. They are all so valuable. But you know what, dad? I have never seen a man as poor as you. There are things that money can't buy. Mom and I never wanted your luxurious gifts. We craved your time and attention. But you were too poor to provide that. And yes, I am leaving this house, your job, and all the material possessions you've given me since birth. Now you won't be embarrassed by me. And remember, Ranvir is not ordinary..." With those words, Sia stormed out, taking a taxi to Ranvir's house, tears streaming down her face. She gazed at herself in the mirror, wiping away her tears, and whispered, "No more tears. Ranvir doesn't deserve a sorrowful Sia." Then, she knocked on the door.
