2- BIG GUY

The elevator's door's open, you were now in a diner of sorts. Everything was a mess, spilled drinks and unknown substances on the floor, boxes randomly placed around

The toons began to split up, talking about how their main objective was fixing the machines so you began making your way ou- "I'M FOLLOWING BIG GUY"...Well seems you're on babysitter duty today

Just the fact that your nickname was "Big Guy" now was just enough to grind your gears, why haven't you started any conversation yet? You didn't know

Maybe you could use that to your advantage, make a deep creepy voice to make them follow your commands hmmm, nice plan

You walked besides the shrimp, and you found one of the machines so you pointed at it

"Nice job but i saw it first!" The shrimp said. 'liar...' you thought as he started fixing the machine...fixing was a strong word, you didn't know how hitting your head on it is gonna fix it but eh, if it works it works.

You looked around for anything interresting, you found 5 tapes and some cables. Best to give them to the shrimp. Hearing the ding the shrimp finally finished the machine, he talked about how he was so good at this but you didn't bother hearing

You showed him the tapes and the cables and he gladly took them "you wouldn't know what to do with these thank you very much." Woooow, this guy is a jerk...

As you walked you heard some running, someone's in trouble. You didn't know what these protective instincts came from but you just couldn't stand watching cute things get hurt

You sprinted towards the sound "HEY WAIT UP!" the shrimp yelled, damn he was slow.

As you got close to the yelling you saw Tisha running from what would appear to be an evil Poppy, you heard the term "twisted" alot, you thought about using it later

You placed yourself behind a wall and waited for Tisha to run through, then you stuck your foot out and tripped twisted poppy, then you started running back where you came from, you heard Tisha say "Thank you!" In the distance

You found Shrimpo again, he looked PISSED. "YOU JUST LEFT ME THERE!" you immediately flinched when he yelled, he could attracted some unwanted attention so you tried to calm him down

He kept popping off about how you were a moron and stuff like that, but then you remembered something. Pulling out the chocolate bar you had picked up in the earlier floor you gave it to him as an 'i'm sorry' gesture

He took it and you pet his head for good measure making him blush and embarrassed "stop doing that!" He started mumbling to himself and we started walking again

Suddently we both heard the elevator ding noise, meaning the machines were finished already and we had to leave fast

Since Shrimpo was as slow as a rock you had an idea.

"H-HEY! PUT ME DOWN YOU IDIOT!" he yelled as you picked him up and ran towards the elevator. You dodged a twisted Tisha and jumped into the elevator with a screaming Shrimpo in your arms

"I COULD RUN WITHOUT YOUR HELP YOU KNOW!?" he yelled but he wasn't squirm anymore, you went to place him down but you felt his hands squeezing your arms. You had to hold him now? Seriously?

"Seems someone has a new friend" Tisha said as he pointed to the both of them. 'There's no way i'm holding this ignorant shrimp' you thought as you tried to put him down one more time

You heard a faint whine coming from the shrimp, you felt pity even though he was kind of a jerk, it just melted your heart. You held him close to your body and he let out a satisfied huff

Dandy the flower came up again, "awww what a cute sight!" As soon as he said that, Shrimpo reacted "CUTE!?" he jumped out of your arms and began babbling about how he was the best and such

What really made you uncomfortable was Dandy's unbreakable stare towards you, his big eyes staring into your soul, as he stared you could see his smile widening ever so slightly. How are they not noticing this?

Then he went away, with a smile and a wave. "Say Big Guy, where did you come from?" Rodger asked you, you shrugged, you really didn't knew.

"He does need to clean himself, all dusty e messy" Tisha said as she tapped her foot, "Bark Bark!" The rock barked. "Oh settle down Pebble, after this floor Dandy can take us back to the main floor!" Tisha told him

"I CAN'T WAIT. I HATE THIS PLACE!" Shrimpo was back at it again, the elevator opened again, this time you decided to follow Poppy and Rodger

As Rodger worked on a machine you decided to cover him by being on a lookout, a twisted poppy was coming their way so you warned Rodger by pointing

"Can't let them get too close... don't want to end up like last time" Last time? What did he mean by that?

Normal Poppy came around, "Everything alright?" She asked, Rodger nodded "most of the machines are done, most of the floors have been easy so far!" She says with confidence

"Certainly, but we still have to be careful. Remember last time you found Twisted Goob?" Rodger said. Goob? Another toon?

"Oh..." Poppy rubs her arm but she suddently stops, "well we aren't gonna go further! We gotta take Big Guy to the main floor!" She says as she stands beside you

"I still have questions..." Rodger says as he gives you a "Bombastic side eye".

Some time passes, hiding from twisted and such. You grabbed an energy bar and a soda, simple items yes but they seemed to give the toon some boosts

A yellow candy seemed to make them faster, the energy bar made them recover their stamina quicker and stuff like that

You took a bite out of the energy bar...nothing happend, theory confirmed. It's best not the waste the soda.

You found Tisha wandering

"Oh hey Big Guy" she greeted you, you took the soda in your hand and showed it to her "for me! Oh you're so kind!" She took it

Suddently you heard the elevator door opened, meaning it was time to go. You and her ran towards the elevator, wow for a small toon she was fast

Getting to the elevator the other toons were running inside and getting chased by a Twisted Poppy and a Twisted...what the hell is that? A lamp? A red threatening light showered the room

The toon seemed to be chasing Pebble, 'damn it...' You quickly ran after the lamp

"Big Guy don't!" You ran, as Pebble was almost getting grabbed you pushed the lamp down and grabbed him

The elevator was starting to close, the toons were all yelling for you to come inside, you decided to throw pebble into the elevator first just incase if you didn't make it the good boy would still be alive

"COME ON BIG GUY!" Poppy yelled. You dolphin dived inside the elevator and the door slammed shut almost chopping  your feet off

The toons were checking if you were fine, except Shrimpo... He was crossing his arms staring deep into your soul

"Don't do that again!" Poppy said beside you, as you stood up. "It was a Noble move. He decided to save Pebble rather than himself. Does he not understand the respawning mechanism?" Rodger added and asked.

"Respawning..." You accidentally muttered in a gruff voice, not enough for the whole elevator to hear, but just enough for a certain someone to listen

"DID YOU JUST TALK!?" seriously? Why is it always this damn shrimp!
