3- Arrival

"I HEARD HIM TALK!" Shrimpo pointed at you with an intense look on his cartoon face, the others were confused

"...i didn't hear anything." Tisha scratched the side of her head confused. Poppy looked over to you and asked "if you can talk, why don't you talk with us?"

You didn't know what to say, you still wanted to keep your 'unknown' image intact. "...i understand if you don't want to talk." Poppy said with a sad look on her face that broke your heart into bits

"Regardless if he can talk or not. Dandy told me that we have to go through 1 more floor before heading back." Rodger said and Shrimpo groaned loudly

Pebble ran around you, and you decided to play with the small rock while you waited, you were crouched down petting him

The door opened leading to a new area, every toon walked or ran to fix the machines do they could go home faster. You decided to stick with Poppy, who unfortunately was accompanied by Shrimpo

"C'MON I KNOW YOU CAN SPEAK!" he kept pestering you, trying to get you to speak, Poppy was starting to get mad

"Shrimpo speak quieter! There could be twisteds around us!" She warned him to no avail. "NOT UNTIL HE SPEAKS." he said sternly

'God almighty...fine.' you spotted a machine and pointed towards it. "...machine..." You decided to make a deep creepy voice to scare him, maybe this will make him shut up

He just looked at you wide eyed, was it working? You decided to push further
"Come on now Shrimpo...be a friend and fix that machine for us..." You continued

"SIR YES SIR!" Shrimpo threw a salute and ran towards the machine, making you confused, wasn't he supposed to be scared?

Poppy stood there surprised look on her face, "Poppy are you alright?" You dropped the creepy evil voice and tried to speak to the toon

"You can speak! You can speak! I knew it!" She jumped around happily, you laughed "alright, settle down Poppy. We need to finish those machines remember?" You told her

She nodded and the both of you began to look for more machines, you found a bandaid and put it on your pocket for later issues

Suddently you heard a scream and loud crunch noise, "what the-" you immediately started running towards the noise "Poppy finish the machine and run to the elevator!" You told her as you rounded a corner

Slowing your sprint to a run, you heard some weird noises coming from the other room, you peeked and was met with an horrifying sight

Tisha was...torn apart on the ground, unmoving, half closed eyes and her chest weakly moving up and down 'OH MY GOD SHE'S STILL ALIVE, WHAT HAPPEND!?'

you rushed to her side and softly held her hand, "oh...big guy...you're here..." She said weakly

"Listen d-don't close your eyes i can get help!" You said as you looked around for anything that could help her. "You talk... don't worry it's... gonna be fine."

Tisha started to close her eyes and you panicked, "no no! Stay with me!" You saw her breathing stop and her eyes close as her body went limp

You shed tears of sadness and grief, such an innocent being, dying infront of your very eyes. You heard the elevator open loudly, it was time to go but before going you got ambushed by a rabid 8ball toon

It bit your arm and scratched at you "ARGH YOU FUCK!" You swung your arm and threw the thing into one of the rooms

Your left arm now was bleeding and some of your hoodie was damaged. 'i need a medkit, there's no way a band aid can help'

You ran towards the elevator, the other toons waiting for you. You held your left arm as you stepped into the elevator as it closed

"What happend!?" Poppy asked as she looked at your damaged arm, you noticed Rodger was in the elevator...and Pebble but i'm pretty sure he wouldn't care if you talked or not

"I got attacked by an 8Ball and... Tisha died in my arms..." You said the last part with grief

The elevator got silent, bit it got cut by Shrimpo. "SKILL ISSUE." That took you out of guard, that was so disrespectful towards-

"Don't worry big guy, we'll see her soon" Poppy said. You got confused did that meant they were gonna die? Then, you remembered 'oh they can respawn.'

Mentally facepalming you felt a tug on your pants, Pebble wanted to play, you decided to play with the little critter as the elevator started going upwards instead of down

"Oh you're gonna love Gardenview! I can't wait for you to meet everyone!" Poppy said with enthusiasm, hmm this was gonna be interesting

|Meanwhile...|

The puddle of Ichor. The remains of the toon Tissue box began to shift, as a small toony hand started coming out of it

With the hand came the head and the rest of the body, the tissue box now having an empty look on her face.

Her memories...broken and rotten, the only thing she could vaguely remember was a tall being comforting her as she perished.

As she cleaned the floor with her feather duster the only thing that echo'd in her mind was "Stay with me..."

Maybe some day she could see that figure again...

|Back to the protagonist|

The door opened and you were met with a beautiful sight. A big tree in the middle of the room that seemed...familiar to you. You just couldn't put your finger on it

It was kind of empty but you heard some talking inside a room

"Maybe some of the other toons are out doing runs, they'll be back soon enough." Rodger said as he began walking somewhere

"Poppy, I gotta atleast look...presentable" you were a disaster at the moment, bet the toons would've thought you were a Twisted

"There are some toon handler bathrooms we don't use!" She points at a couple of doors... Your head hurts at the word 'Toon Handlers...'

There was something going on in this place...
