Truth or Dare?

Chapter 15

Newt's POV

We walk downstairs and join the party again. It's chaos. Food everywhere, people making noise, there's even people playing ball inside. Suddenly the music stops abruptly. I turn to where Dave is and see Minho standing on a nearby table.
"Everybody shut up!" he yells. The noise stops. He grabs his phone and answers a call.
"Hey mommy" he says "yeah we are fine... I love you mom... Bye I have to study... Yeah, yeah" he finishes talking and grabs a microphone.
"Let the party continue!" he says, the music starting again. I take Alice and dance. We make a circle everyone and people start dancing in the middle. The party goes on and on. The music louder and louder, not caring if we wake the neighbors.
At around twelve Minho stopped the music again.
"Okay everyone thanks for coming, but if I didn't personally told you to stay when I give this announcement please leave the house!" he says. Many people groan but do as he said. I see the only ones left are some rookies, our gang, Dave, Alex's gang, Hailey's group and other friends. (AN Hailey is a new character so a small description about her: she is like the school's slut, the 'popular' and so is her group, and every 'bad boy' wants to date her and pretty much every other girl hates her).
The music started again but lower.
"Truth or dare time everyone!" Minho says. We all seat in a circle in the living room. I take a seat next to Alice, with Brenda at the other side. "The rules are simple either you do the dare or answer the truth, or you drink kool-aid from the toilet"
"Ewww" Alice says
"So we are pretty much obliged to do it" a rookie says.
"Mjm" Minho says. We start. Minho spins the bottle and it lands on Dave.
"Truth or dare?" I ask.
"Dare" he says immediately. I think about it.
"Go outside and yell at the top of your lungs 'I have lost my voice, someone please help me find it' until someone tells you to shut up" I say. He stands up and goes outside. We follow him and he starts yelling like maniac. Some lights turn on. In one of the nearby houses a door opens and a man in a robe and bald head comes out with a water gun.
"Shut the hell up you freak!" he says and starts wetting Dave. Everyone starts laughing.
"Stop it!" he says.
"Then shut up" the man answers. Dave looks down at his wet clothes.
"What the hell did you throw at me?!"
"Believe me, you don't want to know kiddo" the man says closing his door. Dave walks back to the house.
"I hope its not pee" he mutters. Everybody laughs. We sit down again and spin the bottle. It lands on Hailey.
"Dare" she says before anyone even asks. I roll my eyes.
"Sit on Minho's lap for the next five rounds" a rookie girl named Marie says. Hailey glares at her with so intensity I don't know how the girl didn't even look away. Hailey stands up and sits in Minho's lap. She looks annoyed, Minho in the other hand looks happy. They spin the bottle and it lands on Tommy.
"Dare" he says.
"Change your clothes with the person to your side" Frank says. Tommy looks to both his sides. To his left he has Teresa and to his right is Brenda.
"I think yours will fit better my butt" he says with a girly voice at Teresa. Everybody laughs. They go to a room and change clothes. Teresa gets out first with Tommy's clothes. They are big for her so it hangs at some parts. Seconds later Tommy gets out wearing the dress. He looks bloody hilarious. It looks super tight on him and he's constantly pulling it down. He sits down with a huff. Many people take photos of him.
"I don't know how you manage to sit with this" he says squirming. Teresa laughs. We continue to play. The bottle lands on Hannah, one of Hailey's friends.
"Dare" she says. I roll my eyes. God this should just be called Dare instead of Truth or Dare.
"You must say 'All hail Queen Nefertiti' before any sentence and from now on ask truth or dare to anyone" Roy says. She rolls her eyes. They spin the bottle and it lands on me. I groan internally.
"Da-" I start, but get cut by Roy.
"Ask him" he says to Hannah. He glares at him.
"All hail Queen Nefertiti" she says "truth or dare?" I chuckle.
"Dare" I answer.
"Eat ice cream but you can't use your hands and you can't clean afterwards" Alby says. I go over to the kitchen with everyone trailing behind me. I get the ice cream and Alby scoops it. Five big balls of very bloody cold ice cream. I put the bowl in the table and put my hands behind my back. I start eating. I see many are taking video of this. I eat and eat trying to get ice cream inside my mouth but getting more in my cheeks and nose instead. God. This is freaking cold. I can feel my cheeks starting to get numb, but still I fight the urge to wipe it away. I continue eating feeling like this will never end. At last after a few more minutes I finish the whole bowl. I grimace ate cold feeling in my face. I don't need to see my face to know it's full of ice cream. We go back to play. I spin the bottle and it lands on Frypan.
"All hail Queen Nefertiti" Hannah says "truth or dare?"
"Dare" Frypan says
"Bark and howl everytime Hannah talks" I say. He laughs. He spins the bottle and it lands on Minho.
"All hail-" Hannah starts
"roof!" Frypan says
"Queen Nefer-"
"roof!"
"Titi. Truth or dare?" she finishes with gritted teeth.
"Dare" Minho says laughing.
"Put your underwear on top of your pants and go outside saying 'I'm Superman!' until someone tells you to shut up" Dave says. Hailey seems happy she could at last stand up. Minho went to change and seconds later come out with his underwear. I laugh and feel the cold of the ice cream in my cheeks. This is starting to burn. He opens the door and walks outside.
"I'm Superman!" he yells running down the street. This time its another house the turns the light on. A women walks outside and goes over to Minho. She puts her hand in the pocket of her night robe and brings out a small squared device. She extends her arm and puts the device in Minho's stomach. Suddenly it electrifies him.
"I- I'm Superma- an" he says through the shock. He falls to the ground, shaking as if he's convulsing. We go over to him.
"He'll wake up after some seconds" the woman says walking back inside "next one will be out for an hour" she closes the door.
"What the bloody hell goes on with that woman?" I say. We pick him up. I feel a very small shock of electricity in my finger tips. We take him back inside and put him in the sofa. Immediately he sits up, scaring us.
"Woah" he says "I feel like the time I put the finger in the outlet"
"You put your finger in the outlet?" Hailey asks. He nods.
"Sometimes I doubt your Asian" she says. Minho shakes now and then.
"Let's continue" he says. I shake my head, laughing. We sit back in the circle. They spin the bottle and it lands on Alice. Again Hannah asks Alice while Feypan barks at her.
"Dare" she answers. Nobody says anything thinking.
"Kiss Alex!", someone yells. I look around at the faces with a scowl. She widens her eyes. Alex just looks at her with a small smile.
"No" she answers. I grab her hand.
"Then drink Kool-Aid from the toilet" Hailey says looking at Alice with false sympathy. She looks over at me. I don't know what to do either.
"Five second kiss" Alex says "nothing more" Alice reluctantly stands up. Alex stands up too. She goes over to him and closes her eyes. She kisses him. I count the seconds in my head.
"Five!" I say loudly. Alice pulls back but Alex doesn't let her. "Hey! Five seconds" I stand up and separate them. Alex smirks at me.
"Best kiss" he says licking his lips. I lounge at him and we fall to the ground. I pin him down easily, and start punching him. Everyone tries to separate us, but I don't budge.
"Newt stop!" Tommy yells pulling me from my shoulders. I push him off.
"Newt stop" this time its Alice. I feel some one grab my shoulders again and I throw my elbow back. I hear a small yelp. A girl yelp. I look back and see Alice clutching her side. Oh God. I let Alex go. I stand up and go over to Alice.
"Oh God Alice I'm sorry" I say "I'm so sorry"
"It's okay" Alice says a bit sharp. Alex stands up with help. His nose is bleeding and he spits blood. His black hair covers half his face giving him a crazy look.
"You are going to pay for this" he says pointing at me and Alice "both of you, you will wished you hadn't mess with me" he leaves the house with his minions.
"Okay everyone the party is over goodbye" Minho says shooing everyone out except the gang out. I take Alice to the kitchen. I grab a bag of ice and pull a clothe on top of it and give it to Alice. I clean my face. I take a seat and bury my face in my hands. I feel so bad for hurting Alice.
"Newt it's okay" Alice says rubbing my back.
"No it's not!" I say "I hurt you Alice and who knows what I could do in other of my attacks" she doesn't say anything.
"You wouldn't hurt me on purpose Newt" she says "it was an accident, you actually separated me from Alex" I sigh. I shake my head and pass my hand through my hair.
"Newt look at me" she says. I ignore her.
"Newt look at me" she says again. Reluctantly I turn to her. Her cheek is starting to turn a bit blue.
"You would never hurt me on purpose" she says. She gives me a quick peck on the lips "never"
"Your cheek is starting to swell" I say "God your parents, they will hate me" I pass my hand through my hair again. I totally screwed up.
"I'll put on some makeup to cover it" she says "they won't notice"
"I hope so" I say.
"Can we come in?" Teresa asks from outside the kitchen door.
"Yeah" Alice answers. They come in. I notice Tommy already changed his clothes back on. I avoid eye contact with everyone and just look at the table.
"Newt we know it's not your fault" Brenda says soothingly. I shake my head.
"I hate myself guys" I admit "I can hurt you without wanting too"
"That's not true Newt" Teresa says "you just need help, we will help you" I sigh.
"Newt" Tommy says. He grabs me by the shoulders. I look up at him.
"We will help you. Everyone have their problems and every problem has a solution" he says "and we will find the answer to yours" I nod.
"That's the most intelligent thing you have ever said" I say jokingly. Tommy chuckles and lets me go.
"Thanks guys" I say "you have always help me when I get my anger problems" a phone rings.
"Hello?" Alice says answering "okay I'll wait for you"
"Who was it?" I ask.
"My brother Oliver he's coming to pick me up anytime soon" she says "Teresa you make magic with makeup could you please cover this up?" she motions to her cheek and I feel bad again. Teresa nods.
"Tom bring me my purse please" she says. Tommy nods and goes upstairs to look for it. He comes back and hands it to Teresa. She takes a small bag out of her purse and starts to work on Alice. I go over to the living room and sit down. I try not to think in what happened, but one thing stays glued to my mind. Alby comes and sit next to me.
"Stop thinking Newt you'll only feel worse" he says.
"No its not exactly that" I say. Alby looks at me expectantly. "Alex said we will pay for what happened tonight and I don't know the look he had in his eyes... it was crazy" I look at Alby but can't read his face.
"Don't worry about it dude he didn't mean it" he says. I nod and try to believe what Alby said. A honk sounds outside the house. I look out the window and see a man standing outside his car. He's got blonde hair and is tall and muscular.
"Is it Ollie?" Alice asks entering the living room. She looks as if nothing happened.
"I dunno he looks nothing like you" I say.
"It's him" Alice says.
"Bye Alice" Alby says leaving us alone. She walks towards me. We stand face to face. I gingerly touch her cheek with my fingertips.
"It's okay Newt" she says taking my hand in hers and pressing against her cheek softly. She pecks me in the lips.
"Teresa did a great job" I say.
"Yeah" she says "she showed me how to apply it so it doesn't show the bruise and at the same time it's not obvious" I nod.
"You know I'm very sorry" I say.
"I know you are Newt, believe me I'm not mad at you. You where just trying to protect me" she says. I sigh.
"Looks like I did it wrong" I say. She kisses me and I kiss her back.
"Don't blame yourself" she says. I nod.
"Do you want me to meet your brother?" I ask. She seems to think.
"Yeah" she says nodding "but let's not show him we are together he's very over protective" I nod.
"When you are ready to show them is fine with me" I say. I open the door and let her pass. I follow her towards her brother. He's definitely nothing like her. While her hair is strawberry red and curly, his is blonde and cut short. Alice's eyes are a warm honey color while his are a light grey shade. The one thing they seem to share is the last name...
"Hey Ollie" Alice says hugging her brother. He kisses her head.
"This is Newt" she says. I extend my hand.
"Oliver" he says shaking my hand "nice to meet you"
"Same" I answer back.
"Let's go" Alice says "mom will kill us if we don't get there before dawn"
"Let's go then" he says. He opens his door and gets in.
"Bye" I say to Alice.
"Bye" she answers entering the passengers seat. Oliver lowers the window.
"Hope we see again" he says, sincerity filling his voice. I nod. He turns the car on and they leave.
