[Title: Disposable Heroes - Metallica.]

The rest of the flight to Peru was quiet. Clara didn't speak to Noah, much to his disappointment and frustration. Though no one was really speaking to each other much. Clara's own gaze tended to flicker between the window, Bumblebee, and Optimus. However, she managed to not be caught looking at Optimus yet. She honestly had no reason to just be staring at the autobot leader, but she was. She was sure Elena was also internally happy when they finally touched solid ground again when they landed in Peru in ruins outside the city in the distance. "Well, at least we're all breathing and Mirage isn't having a breakdown," Clara commented as she walked next to Elena and Mirage rolled his optics.

"Hey, I had valid reasons for an almost breakdown!" Mirage countered much to her amusement and she let out a small chuckle.

"Oh, I know." She hummed when the sudden and loud beeping of a horn caught their attention. Clara and Elena shared a look before turning and spotting an old Volkswagon bus speeding down the grass toward them and not stopping his beeping in the slightest. "Huh. You guys...have some unique tastes in cars." Clara noted as she tilted her head in curiosity and tapped her thumb and middle finger together. Optimus's optics caught the action and he raised a curious brow but said nothing.

"Yeah, we do." Arcee chuckled.

"And I think we have great taste." the autobot spy grinned proudly and Clara shook her head with a crooked smile. Noah glanced at his friend and smiled to himself. He couldn't deny that he was happy she was comfortable with them and Elena. However, Clara's smile soon turned into a grimace and she flinched when the unknown autobot's tires let out a popping and screeching noise, that didn't sound too good. "Wow! Wheeljack needs to fix that power steering." Mirage remarked when the said autobot clunkily transformed.

"Who's Wheeljack?" Elena frowned.

"Autobot engineer and scientist, he's got a great mind, but he's not always a fan of conflict if he can help it." Arcee explains to the young woman as she glances down at her. "But he'll fight if he needs to." She added to assure the three humans.

"You guys don't have an autobot doctor or medic do you?" Clara leaned over and uttered to Optimus nearby.

"No, we do not." Optimus shook his helm.

"Well, I'm always a radio call away." She half-joked and he frowned confused which made her chuckle lightly. Optimus didn't know what it was but he found that he liked her laugh. There was something about it that was oddly comforting, that if Clara was at ease enough to laugh then you should too. "My mom is an airforce mechanic, when she first started she did the down and dirty work. She taught me a lot about mechanics and fixing cars, and Charlie's dad did too. I know my stuff, Charlie's the protege, but I'm good." Clara gave him a smile and Optimus hummed with a small nod.

"I will keep that in mind." He nearly smiled and Clara noted that almost instantly. Noah's eyes flickered between the two but he remained quiet, he knew Clara still wasn't happy with him.

"Sorry I'm late." the heavy Hispanic accent of Wheeljack interrupted Clara and Optimus's conversation after he transformed. Clara's brows raised at the butterflies floating around the eccentric bot. "I was taking in a harmonious moment between a serene butterfly and an unruffled caterpillar. Such tranquility." He explained himself, entranced in the memory.

"You guys just pick up our accents like we do with each other wherever you stick around long enough?" Clara asked curiously but lowly and Optimus nodded as Mirage remarked.

"Yep, pretty much."

"Yo-ho-ho. Oye, papo, where you from?" Noah suddenly cut in with a small grin.
