Giyuu's POV
When we got there, there was a slight breeze and I felt it run through my hair as I looked at Sanemi. We just looked at each other for a moment, listening to the sound of the river. Otherwise, it was silent. But not the awkward type. My eyes slowly wandered from his eyes to his lips, but I didn't realize what I was doing. When I did, though, I turned my head away from him. I didn't want him to realize I was blushing.
-----------
Sanemi's POV
There was light wind when we got there and the wind blowing through his hair was angelic. It was quiet, aside from the running of the river and the rustling of the leaves on the trees. But, it wasn't the uneasy sort of quiet. It was oddly comforting in a way.
Shit, I wanted to kiss him right then and there, but I knew I couldn't.
He turned his head away from me, but I could tell he was heavily blushing. To be honest, it was cute on him. I smiled at him, hoping it wasn't as awkward as the last time I smiled at him. Then, he started to wander toward a nearby tree and I followed. He stood under it, looking at the flowers blooming on it.
He then picked one of the flowers and walked up and faced me. He then took the flower, though he hesitated, and put it behind my ear, tucking my hair behind my ear with it too. Is he purposely doing this shit to make me flustered? Damn him and his pretty face, it's working.
And then he smiled at me again.
I couldn't help but smile back. The sight of his smile was a perfect one, I didn't care for the rest of our surroundings. He grabbed my hand again and we started walking along the river. The gentle flow was mesmerizing, but my eyes were still locked on Giyuu.
He eventually stopped at a spot that was under the shade near the river. Then, he crouched down and started running his fingers through the water. I wish he would put his fingers in me- WOAH THERE, BUDDY...
He fully sat down on the grass and he out one knee up to his chest. He gestures me so sit next to him by patting the ground to his left.
I sat next to him, and his eyes started tracing the edge of the river. His eyes then landed on a singular flower, that was only about maybe 1 foot away from him. After looking at it for a moment, he picked it from the ground, looked over to me, and handed it to me. I took it and I observed it. It reminded me of him in a way. I don't know what it was, but there was something he and the flower had in common.
He put his hand to his side to lean on it, and I, though I hesitated, I slid my hand on top of his. I knew I was blushing, but I didn't care. All that mattered is that I was holding his hand.
He looked and me and his eyed slightly widened. We looked into each other's eyes for a moment. The tension was heavy between us.
Our faces grew closer together, and as we closed our eyes, we leaned in closer...
-----------
Giyuu's POV
While my face was still warm, Sanemi smiled at me, and that made my face heat up even more.
I spotted a nearby tree and thought the flowers on it would look good on Sanemi. So, I started walking toward the tree with Sanemi following behind me. I picked off one of the flowers and tucked it behind Sanemi's ear. He looked beautiful, as the flower complimented his features. I smiled at him, but it was different this time.
He smiled back.
His genuine smile is so charming, I wish my smile could look as pretty as his.
But I stopped thinking about it and I took his hand. I started walking along the river with Sanemi. Our surroundings were beautiful, but I could tell his eyes were on me. Though, usually I don't like it when people look at me, I didn't mind when it was him.
After a minute of walking, I found a perfect shaded spot by the river. I crouched down and started running my hands through the water. The water felt nice, since it wasn't too hot nor cold. After a moment, I went from a crouch to sitting, and gestured Sanemi to take a seat next to me.
After he sat down, my eyes wandered across the river that seemed to go on forever. But, after I was done gazing upon the river, my eyes landed upon a flower.
I picked it and gave it to Sanemi, then he took it. He seemed to be thinking about something, so I put my hand beside me, so I rest on it. Then, I felt his warm hand start to hold mine.
I looked at him for a moment, as I felt the tension between us grow heavier and heavier.
I closed my eyes and slowly leaned in closer, and...

Shinobu's POV
"Where the fuck are they? We've been waiting here!", Uzui said, loud enough that I could hear him across the room.
As much as I hate to agree with Uzui, where are these mother fuckers? Shinazugawa told us he'd be here in time for the party, and here he is, being 30 minutes late! I thought they were just going out to eat, how is this taking so long? Everyone's here, even Iguro, shockingly.
Rengoku arrived with the food, Uzui arrived with the drinks, everyone was there except Shinazugawa and the birthday boy himself.
I'm going to tell my crow to send these shit heads a message to come here.
-----------
Sanemi's POV
"CAWW CAWWWW!! PLEASE REPORT TO THE WATER ESTATE THIS INSTANT!!!!! CAWWW!!!"
Both of us quickly backed out of the kiss and Giyuu quickly got up. He looked a little panicked, which made sense.
Shit. I forgot about the party, and I may or may not have gotten a little... carried away. Couldn't this stupid fucking crow just be a minute later, though? This little shit ruined the moment.
I got up with Giyuu, took his hand, and started speed-walking toward his estate.
-----------
Giyuu's POV
I was startled by the crow, to say the least. Did something happen? Was there a demon? I didn't know what was going on, so, alarmed, I got up off the ground.
Sanemi looked a bit angry, but that's a little expected for him.
He took my hand, and we started walking to my estate, but I felt we should be going a tad bit faster, in case something had happened.
We eventually made it to my estate, and I opened the door to see all of the Hashira and decorations set up all around my estate.
"Happy birthday, Tomioka!!", they all screamed.
I'm glad they remember, but they didn't really have to do this... I'm not one for parties. But, before I could say anything, they ushered me in and Kocho took Sanemi aside.
-----------
Sanemi POV
As we got there, Kocho quickly grabbed me and pulled me away from everyone else. What was she doing?
"Where were you, Shinazugawa? We have been waiting."
I could tell she was trying to hide it, but she was MAD.
"The place was busier than we expected...?", I said, sounding very unsure.
"If you say so...", she responded, putting on her usual fake smile. God, couldn't she show her anger sometimes? Like, she's nice, but if you're angry, you should be able to express it, but whatever. She then dragged me out, back into the crowd. I glanced around to see MANY bottles of alcohol. I'm guessing Uzui brought all of it.
This was going to be a very... interesting party...
