Chapter 10. The Letter

"Alright, i think you've earned it princess." He smiles and gives me the letter. he kisses my forhead and keeps his hands on my thights.....

"Open it for me?? I've always been shit at opening envelopes."

"That'll cost you extra." I roll my eyes but give him another kiss. I pull away, smiling. he takes the envelope from me and easily opens it. handig it back to me.

"Thank you!" I smile. he kisses my cheek and waits for me to read it out loud.

Violetta,

I hope you and Leon are doing well. everything is okay from now. Your father still has guards searching for you. But i promise i have said nothing. As of wednesday, your father has called off our engagement. he allowed me to find someone for myself and rule my own kingdom. I hope this brings you joy. I know you and Leon must be very happy. I hope the best for you both! I will be writing you soon.

I can't believe it. My engagement is finally over. I'm free!!

I hop down from the counter and jump up and down. hugging Leon tightly. "Wow I can't believe it!!" He happily says.

"I know, I'm so happy!" I say and kiss him. "thank you so much for sticking by me Leon. You don't know how much you mean to me." Tears begin to stream down my face.

He smiles and wipes my tears away before kissing me. "I'd do anything for you princess. I love you so much."

"I love you too." I smile. "This day could not get any better."

Leon's POV

"This day could not get any better" Violetta says, her eyes gleaming. She is the most beautiful girl to grace the face of earth.

I sure hope i can make this day way better. Mum isn't only coming just to check up on us, but to give me one of our family's most preprecious rings. I'm going to give it to Violetta when i propose to her. I sure hope she says yes. She's my everything, I can't imagine a life without her.

I didn't know when the right time to propose to her would be. I mean, she was to be married to Diego. I know that he's seeing someone else. but she was still bonded to him. It's not that i was jealous, I just didn't feel right asking her to be my wife when she was still engaged to Diego.

These past months with her have been so amazing, but this past month have been even better. We've shared so many things together, so many new experiences, and i wouldn't have wanted to share them with anyone else.

As we speak to each other, i here a knock on the door. It must be my mom.

"C'mon." I say to her and grab her hand.

Once my mum sees us she smiles brighty. "Hi guys!!"

"Hi Mum!"

"Hi Mrs. Vargas." Violetta says politely.

"Call me Sadie sweetie." she smiles and hugs her. "You look beautiful I love the dress." she winks.

I smile at them. "God I love you guys."

They look at me and smile. Coming up to me and hugging me. How lucky am I??
