4. The Date

Chapter 4.

I smile brightly. I take the risk. i don't care. I deserve happiness,and i know i can get that with Leon. i will figure out a way to get out.

•Saturday•

this day could not have come faster. I finally get to see Leon!! Angie said that she wouldn't say anything to my father. She would keep him in the castle until I'm back.

I grab a bag. stuffing it with jeans. a T-shirt, sneakers that I could change into. i run out of my room and head downstairs.

"Where are you going??" My dad asks.

"Diego and I are going out for a bit" I lie.

"Okay" he says and eyes you suspiciously. "be careful"

I nod and leave. i go outside behind a tree and change quickly.

"Your carriage awaits" Diego says as he pulls up to you. I laugh and climb in.

"Thanks for taking me" i say

"It's no problem" he smiles.

I take the tree miles journey to the the lake. when we got there. I immediatly spot Leon.

"Thanks Diego!! I'll see you soon!" I smile.

"Alright. Be careful okay?"

"I will. Thank you so much, it means a lot to me" i smile.

"I just want you to be happy. i've never seen you so happy until now"

"I really appreciate it" I smile

"Go have fun!! I'll be back later!!"

"Okay. bye" i say and run over to Leon.

"Hi beautiful." Leon says.

I run up to him and tighly hug him. "Hi" i smile brightly.

"It's weird seeing you in normal clothes" Leon chuckles.

"I like dressing like this better. at least I don't have to drag around a dress"

"Well you look great in everything." he smiles.

"You look so cozy" I giggle and look over to his appearance. his hair isn't styled in any practicular way and he's dressed in jeans and a T-Shirt. "you're adorable"

"Thanks" he blushes. "Come here. I set something for us."

He takes me a bit closer to the lake shore. I see a blanket spread out and a basket full of food.

"Oh Leon. Thank you" i smile at him.

He smiles back. "ever had picknick before??"

"No. i'm glad my first one is with you though!" I grab his hand and rush him over to the basket. "what's in the basket?"

"Some sandwiches and cookies" he sits down as i dig through the basket.

"This is so amazing. Thank you" I tighlty hug him.

"It's no problem at all." he smiles. He motions for me to sit next him and i do so. He wraps an arm around my waist, pulling me closer. "is this Alright??"

"Yes" I smile and lean into him.

"How you've been??" He asks.

"Honestly, not to great. i can't seem to get out of this slump. I hate being so sad and depressed. but i'm practically tied down to the castle"

"How'd you get out?"

"I told them I was going out with Diego. He was the one who dropped me off. He's happy for me. And Angie said she would keep my father in the castle until I'm back."
