Chapter 7. Saving Him

I wipe the tears away and regain some of my composure before running back to the castle. I have to save Leon

I run the whole way back, making it back to the castle quicker than originally thought. I rush up to my room and grab a huge bag, filling it will food, Clothes and a blanket. I rush to the confines where they'd be keeping Leon and, thankfully, see a dufferent guard.

I look at Leon, his head hung low. he's running his hands through his hair.

"Princess Violetta?? What are you doing here??" The guard asks.

"Let him go" I say and point to Leon.

"I'm sorry princess, but i can't. U was giving strict orders by your father."

I don't care what he said. I'm telling you let him go!!" I demand. He doesn't move. "Do it now!! I'm telling you to do it, So do it!!"

He sighs. but complies. He unlocks the cell door and Leon rushes up to me. I take his hand and lead him out. we run out of the castle and into the woods. once i think were far enough, we stop and take a deep breath.

Leon takes me in his arms and tightly hugs me. "I love you so so much!"

I begin to cry again. "I'm just glad i could save you."

"So what's going to happen now?? Are you going back??"

"No i want to stay with you." I say.

"I don't want to risk your life for me. i want you to be safe."

I sigh. "remember the first day we met??"

"Ofcourse i do. i met the best thing That happened to me that night."

"Well, you told me after every rainy day there comes a day filled with crisp air and sunshine remember??" He nods. "Well your my beautiful day after the storm that's ravaged my life." I smile.

He smiles and gives me a long kiss. "You don't know how much you mean to me."

"I love you. i'd sacrifice whatever i have to do to be with you. I know i sound like a some insane. love-sick girl. but i don't care."

"I'd do the same." He smiles. "thank you. you saved me."

"You have nothing to thank me for. you almost got killed."

"It's not your fault baby. we're fine now though. at least we're together now."

"I don't care what happens. as long as i'm with you i'm happy."

"I love you so much." He kisses my cheek. "I'll protect and provide for you. I promise. You'll be safed and loved and we're going to be happy."

"I know we will be." I smile and kiss him.

"Let me take your bag." he smiles. "What do you have in here??"

"Some clothes, food and a blanket."

"Good thinking my smart girl." He beams and wraps an arm around my waist.

"All we have to figure out is where we're going to stay."

"I think i know exactly where we can."

"Really??" I smile.

"Yup, I'll hope you like it." He smiles.

"We could live in a box and i'd be happy because i have you."

"Babe" he coos and kisses me. He grabs my hand and sways them back and forth.

"How far is this said place??"

"It's closer to my kingdom. It's a pretty far walk."

I shrug. "I don't mind. I just hope nobody finds us."

"I don't think they will. I'm going to send my mum a letter tommorow about out whereabouts. I promise she won't say anything."

"I trust you." I smile. "Does she knows about us??"

"She's the only one that knows about us. not even my dad knows. I promise we'll be safe."

"I know we will. I love you so much."

"I love you too princess." He smiles as I raise an eyebrow.

"Princess??"

"Not like that. You're the typical princess. you're my special princess."

I shrug. "As long as no one's uses it like you."

"No one better." He sternly says. "I'll beat them if they do."

"Oh you wouldn't." I giggle.

You two walk about two hours bafore you reach your destination.

"This is it." he points to a honey-looking cottage. It's small but so perfectit bright colours welcomes you.

I gasp. "Leon it's beautiful."

"You like it??"

"I-I love it. i'm so speechless right now." i turn to him and hug him.

"I'd do anything for you." he softly says.

"How did you know about this place?"

"I actually found it one day. it had been abandoned. i told my mum and dad and they had a few people fix it up to my liking and they gave it to me. it sits at the very edge of our kingdom. I come here alot just to get away."

"Are you sure it's okay for me to stay?"

"Ofcourse baby, It's our home now." he smiles an kisses me. "Shall we go in??"
