Chapter 19. I'm Sorry

Violetta's POV

"You can do it." He kisses my cheek and opens the door.

I hesitantly walk in and see my dad laying down. He looks so weak. I gasp at the sight, causing him to turn and look at me.

"Violetta??" He weakly says.

"Hi dad." I say.

"Come here sweetheart." He says, I oblige and walk up to him. Leon behind me. "Hi Prince Leon."

"Oh please sir, just Leon."

He nods. "How've you been??"

"We'e been good. I just wanted to see you. I heard you were sick." My voice cracks as I start tearing up.

"Don't cry, I'm alright." He weakly smiles.

"I'm just scared." I admit and cry harder.

"I'm fine. I promise." He grabs my hand. "I've finally realized how wrong I was. I shouldn't have forced you into anything. I should've let you do your own thing. I was just afraid of you leaving. But I pushed you even further away. I'm sorry. Leon is a great boy for you. I'm so sorry." He says, tears streaming down his face.

"It's okay dad. I've forgiven you a long time ago. I love you."

"I love you so much." He kisses my hand. "and Leon, I'm sorry. You've proven to be such a great guy. I don't know why I didn't see that before. I'm sorry."

"It's fine sir. no problem at all." Leon smiles.

"I'm glad she chose you." He smiles.

"Thank you so much sir. It means a lot."

"Violetta, please come back?? Be the princess again."

"Dad, I-I don't want to leave Leon." I move closer to my beloved fiancé and he wraps his arms around my waist.

"He can come and stay too. We'll need a king one day."

I look at Leon. "only if he wants to??"

"I'd be honored!! Thank you so much sir!" Leon beams.

"Great!!" He smiles.

"Thank you so much dad." I say, crying tears of joy.

"I love you sweetheart."

"I love you too dad." I gently hug him and kiss him on the cheek.

"Go settle back in. I'll see you later."

"Okay." I smile and grab Leon's hand.

"Thank you sir." Leon says. He waves to me and we both leave. Once outside, Leon takes me into his arms. "See!! All better!!" He smiles.

"Leon you don't know how much I love you." i smile. "Are you sure you aant to move here?? I dob't want to take you away from your family."

"I'm going to have to lie my own life at one time or another. I want it to be with you. I'd love to live with you. My princess, and one day, My queen." He sweetly kisses me. "I love you."

"I love you too." I smile.

"I'm going to go back to my kingdom tommorow and get everything settled for me to move here. I'll be gone for a few days." He says.

"Can't I come with you??" I pout.

"I want you to stay here and look after you father. I know you'd worry about him too much if you left."

I nod. "How many days??"

"I'll try my best to make it only one, Bit I know we'll have to settle a few things. I don't want to be away from you either baby. But I want to make sure I'd do everything I need to do."

"Okay" I nod.

"I promise I'll be back as soon as I can. You have me for tonight though." He chuckles.

"All we're going to do is lie down ad cuddle." I pout, hating the idea of Leon being away.

"Sounds good to me." He chuckles and take my hand. " How about we get started??"

"Lets go!!" I smile and rush to my room, getting started on the cuddling.

~Three days later~

"Leon!!" I happily say.

"Hi princess!!" He says and runs up to me, hugging me tightly. "I've missed you so much!!"

"I didn't think I was going to survive." I giggle and kiss him.

"I am never leaving you for that long again. You're coming with me."

"Sound good to me." I giggle "So how'd it go??"

He grabs my hand and leads me into the castle. "It went well. My parents are so happy for the both of us. They send their love and blessings. They're glad that we'll be ruling here one day. They said we could ome back anytime and that our small cottage would be kept safe and clean."

"Yay!! i smile. "You don't know how happy I am to be with you."

He smiles and kisses me. "I'm so happy to be with someone like you. I can't wait for our lives together."

"Me neither." I give him another kiss. "It's going to be perfect"
