SCHOOLHOUSE, 𝙲𝙻𝙴𝚅𝙴𝙻𝙰𝙽𝙳, 𝙾𝙷📍𝟷𝟸:𝟷𝟶𝙿𝙼"I'm only here 'cause my parents. I really wanna go online for this shit man, tired of being here. I actually could considering all my medical shit." I say to Gio with Aiya sitting on my lap while she's recording herself on her phone.
I've been out of the hospital for almost a week now considering I was only in there for two days. Coach sent my info to the tournament host and they confirmed my qualification so I'm officially entered in the program.
"Nooo." She turns her head away from her "vlog". I look up at her and see a pout on her face.
"You already finna graduate, I won't see you in school anymore after that. I need all the time I can get." She cups the bottom of my face and I nod.
"I guess. You see me outside of school though ma, I don't know why you stressin'." I rub her thigh with my hand and she shrugs.
"Still, I'll be sad not seeing you in school next year."
"I'll pick you up everyday if I can." I glance down at her exposed cleavage and look up before she can catch me.
"You won't be able to pick me up everyday," She starts and runs her nails through my hair.
"Because you'll be too busy with your boxing career by then, probably waaay out in CALI somewhere for a fight." She says in exaggeration. I smile before shaking my head.
"I don't know about all that." I chuckle and she kisses her teeth.
"You know you gonna make it big stop it, have some faith in yourself." She rubs my face and I sigh.
"Just don't wanna get my hopes up and be disappointed in the end. Just gonna take it one step at a time." I shrug and she nods.
"Whatever works best for you baby. I'll be there with you every step of the way-No matter what happens." She pecks my lips and I smile.
"I know you will, I want you there. You're gonna be there." I start and she has a small hint of confusion in her expression when she looks up.
"You hear that?" She furrows her eyebrows and I look up cluelessly and shake my head.
"H-hear what?" I squint and she looks around trying to figure out where the sound is coming from.
"It's..I know Ian trippin'.." She mumbles to herself and I wave her off.
"Forget that—like I was saying: You are gonna be there with me through EVERYTHING. So to start.." I watch her face change as the lights dim and the music gets louder.
"I knew I wasn't trippin'! " She says as 'Great Gatsby' by Rod Wave plays throughout the lunch room.
"Aiya.." I grab her biceps, just to keep her from turning around.
