It's been a few weeks since graduation and I've started to prep for my BIRTHDAY which is a week and a half away and I've decided that I'm going to have a birthday dinner just to keep it simple.
Unfortunately not everyone will be there to join me; Syana is away in New York for some fancy fashion internship until the end of the summer. Talia has an open house to go to at FAMU and I told her she couldn't miss that, she'll bring me back a souvenir though.
But on another note we've started to do our own thing. Giovanni got offers to many colleges but in the end decided to commit to LSU with a scholarship. Ramiero of course is still growing in the UFC industry and actually has a fight this weekend. Melody has been focusing on her culinary skills and taking classes. And I ended up bagging the Monaleo gig which will be tomorrow night.
"I like that but I don't think you should wear sleeves." He rests his arm across my back and I continue to scroll through the website filled with dresses.
When I come across a pastel pink one I gasp and click on it.
"Oh my goodness do you see it? Baby do you see it?!" I shake his shoulder and he nods, looking back and forth from me to the screen.
"The bow, the lace, the strap! It's perfect. And it's-it's—" I trail off when I see the sizes. No size XS.
"Not in your size.." Ramiero finishes for me, chuckling a little and I feel a frown develop on my face.
"You're such an asshole." I shrug him away from me and push the laptop away.
"Aww don't do me like that. Look I'm sure we can find a dress that'll be just as pretty, come on." He turns the laptop and starts to scroll on his own.
"Maybe you couldn't get that dress because there's a dress that'll be even better—what's that thing we always say?" He raises his eyebrows.
"Everything happens for a reason.." I mutter, holding my head up in my hand.
"Exactly. So that wasn't your dress and I promise we'll find the one that is." He reassures me, planting a kiss on my forehead.
I sigh, closing the laptop but not fully which makes him look at me.
