I've been beating myself up about it because I keep letting him back into my life when I know he's no good for me. And I hate it but there's just a little part of me that holds so much hope for us, like we'll actually be something in the future.
With school starting back I don't think I'll be able to feel better any time soon. Having to see him almost everyday again and school work on top of that. I'm finna die.
My shower is extra long tonight, I need this to be the best sleep of my life.

"You alright Aiya?" She questions and I nod effortlessly.
"You look sleepy." Actually no. I got a great amount of sleep last night. But I nod to get their attention off of me.
"But yeah, girl I was working alll winter break. I'm finna go get my nails done after school, I deserve it." Heaven holds her hands up and looks at them.
Damn, all break? And what the fuck did I do? Shaking my damn head. Maybe that's what I need, a J-O-B. I'm probably not feeling well 'cause I'm being lazy. I'll look for jobs later, I'll just let my eyes close for right now.
"Aiya you want me to put this in your bookbag? So you can take it home and do it?" Syana interrupts my thoughts, holding my paper and I nod. I haven't done work all day, I just don't feel like it. I'll do it at home though and even if I don't, it's just one day of missing assignments. Won't hurt my grades for real.
"Aiya where yo man at? He got this class too." I hear Heaven's voice and shrug slowly. Shit, hell if I know. I haven't seen that nigga since lunch and even then I was laying down so we didn't really talk. Besides when he was bothering me.
"He prolly skipping. Which—no offense Aiya, but I don't think he should because his dumbass need the credits for this class to fucking graduate." Syana says with shame in her tone, I scoff.
"None taken, that's his life." I mutter into my sleeve and Heaven starts to run her fingers along my braid parts sending shivers down my back. Whew, that shit feel good as always.
