Many Marines try to make their way to the walkway, but are halted by Whitebeard and his forces. We all watch Luffy get closer and closer to Ace. However, someone leaps down and lands between Luffy and Ace, cracking the ground on impact.

*Is he okay with Ace getting executed?* I think in disbelief. Luffy tells Garp to move aside but he refuses, as he is a Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral. Inazuma's bridge begins to collapse.

"I have been fighting pirates since before you were born. So, you Luffy will have to kill me if you wish to reach Ace!" Garp yells. Luffy enters Gear 2. However, Garp falters at the last second, allowing Luffy to knock him aside and send him plummeting into the concrete.

*Does he want Ace to be rescued? Or is he just old and got a cramp?* I question as I see Luffy make the final leap to the platform. He pulls out the key Hancock gave him and is about to unlock Ace's cuffs. However, Sengoku reveals his Devil Fruit ability, transforming into an enormous golden Buddha like-being. From the corner of my eye in the air, Kizaru points a finger at the platform, light coming out of it. In an instant, I jump into the air in the direction to Kizaru, blasting him with water, sending him down. But was too late, he had fired the beam of light, breaking the key in two. I landed back to the ground carefully, eyes divert to the stand. I see someone protect Ace with... wax? As Luffy holds Sengoku back as he unleashes on enormous punch on Luffy. The blow causes the scaffold to collapse, all three falling with it.

"Boys!" I yell as I run towards the fallen scaffold. The Marines open fire, attempting to finish off all three. I create a thick wall of water, stopping the bullets and cannons when they make it inside the water. From behind me a tunnel of flame emerge, revealing a freed Ace grabbing onto Luffy.

"You're always so reckless, Luffy" Ace scolds. I quickly run towards them, wrapping them in a tight hug. Mambo following behind, wrapping himself around both of them.

"You don't know how much both of you worry me." I say with a smile.

"I'm sorry Mama..." Ace quietly says. I slowly break away and cup his freckled cheek.

"But you're safe now... You returned to me.. We just need to get out of here." I then cup Luffy's cheek with my other hand. "You boys stick together, don't separate, until we get out of Marineford." They both nod in understanding. "I love you both so much, please be careful."

"We love you too, Mama" They both say in unison. I give both of them a kiss on their cheek. I step back, looking at the water wall that protects us from getting hit. I hold out my hand, blasting the water back at the Marines, all three of us making an escape. I run past the Marines, Mambo attacking them. Then I run into Ivankov and Inazuma.

"Etta! What are you doing here?! You're supposed to be with your sons!" Iva yells in shock.

"Don't worry they have each other to get through." I answer as all three of us run to the bay, where pirate ships are docked. As running, an enormous earthquake rumbles on Marineford.

"Pops, please come with us!" Pirates yell at Whitebeard, to come with them.

"Leave, my sons!" He stubbornly yells. The marines open fire on him but he continues to attack, while his crew reluctantly fulfills his wishes and proceeds to pull out.

"It's time to go, straw-boy" Ivankov tells Luffy. As we were about to leave, I turn around to find Ace not following.

"Ace, baby we need to go.." I quietly say as I place a hand on his shoulder. He slowly nods. However, before he does, he bows to Whitebeard, in the midst of chaos.

"Was I a good father?" Whitebeard asks.

"Of course." Ace tearfully answers. Whitebeard laughs heartily at the response. We all prepare to escape, but suddenly Akainu attacks us with a molten fist.

"You all are cowards, for rescuing Fire-Fist then running away. Whitebeard was nothing but a failure." Akainu mocks. All of a sudden, Ace turns face to face with him.

"Take back what you said." Ace demands, angrily. The Pirate captains and Luffy yell at Ace as I stare at him, sadly.

"Whitebeard never defeated Roger nor became Pirate King. He's a failure." He continues to insult Whitebeard. The rest of the Pirates urge Ace not to get provoked by the Admiral, but Akainu's continuing mockery eventually sets off Ace's temper. He attacks Akainu out of fury. However, he is badly burned on his left hand and knocked back.

"Ace!" I yell. But was kicked back away from my son's.

"Fufufu..~ I'm not done with you, Aletta!" I lookup to see a smirking Doflamingo. I quickly stand up and prepare for the fight. Just as he was about to attack, he was kicked by someone. I look to see Ivankov.

"Go, Etta! I'll take care of him." Iva says. I nod, but just as I was about to walk away, I feel pain short through my torso. Slowly, I look down to find nothing. No blood, no dagger... I turn around, my face turns into horror..

Akainu's molten fist pierces Ace's entire torso, as Ace shields Luffy. My heart felt like it had stopped beating, my breathing felt heavy, time felt like it had slowed...

"No..." I quietly say. Tears start to stream down my face, my feet slowly and shakily start to move, every second they quicken. Akainu moves in to attack him again, but is blocked by Jinbe. My vision blurs from the tears, they seem to far... I see Ace slowly start to fall to the ground...

"No..!" I yell as I quicken my pace, trying to reach him, but it was too late. "ACE!!!" I scream, he made contact with the concrete floor, blood splattered around... I fall to my knees beside him, eye wide, mouth covered with my hand. "My baby... Ace please... open your eye..." I cry as I pull a strand of hair off his face... he's smiling... "I-I promised... I promised Rouge!!" I sob into my hand...

A burst of anger builds inside me, on instinct I leap off the ground and intercept Akainu attack on Luffy.

"Jinbe! Take Luffy and leave Marineford now!" I yell as I stare bullets into Akainu. I hear footsteps fade away, meaning they all ran without arguing.

"You... killed my son. Now you're dead meat." I angrily say as I clench my fists...
